Characters: Georgia and Sybill Setting: Saturday Afternoon / The Library Content: Worksafe Summary: Its time to sip tea and to learn some new things
Georgia had decided that she simply would not knit blankets, or scarfs, or mittens any longer. It was hard and time consuming, and she had heard of a much easier way to do it. She would learn to crochet. And upon consulting Sybill, she decided that they would sip tea. So Georgia made a stop at the kitchens before making her way up to the library and snuggling herself into a seat, waiting for her friend.
Waiting for Sybill, Georgia decided to get everything situated. She discreetly pulled out cups and her thermos, which had a handy spout. She pulled a couple more things from her bag - sugar and cream - and set them on the table before them. Next came the cups, and once everything was placed, she poured herself a bit to test the taste and temperature. It was gone in a sip, and Georgia set her cup back down, happy with the results of her test.
Next, she pulled a scan of yarn from her pack and then a crochet hook, which she held somewhat awkwardly, not entirely sure what to do it with it. Both of these she placed in her lap, and she pulled out one last thing; a note pad and pencil. It was full of ideas for the book club, and she had meant to ask Sybill what she thought about the small list she had compiled. Surely the other girl would have some input.
Georgia looked up, her eyes scanning the room. Hopefully Sybill would be there soon, but she supposed she could wait.
