Gwendolyn was annoyed. No, annoyed didn't quite cover just how she was feeling at the moment. One of her good friends went out to dinner with the man she was well, involved with. She was annoyed with Astoria, too, but mostly she was upset with him. After all, he should know better. It was not right at all that he should be having it on with her friends. He claimed to love her, so what exactly was he doing try to romance another woman and call her princess. She never got cute nicknames like that!

Marching up to his front door, Gwendolyn knocked loudly then leaned back a little to cross her arms so that she could glare at him properly when he finally opened the door. Adrian needed to know that he really should not be seeing her friends. The Weasley girl was one thing, and it was gross, but this was so much worse. When the door opened, she gave him her best annoyed look.

"So, how was it? Have fun with your princess?"

He hid his smile behind a sip. He was right. It did bother her. Maybe things weren't as hopeless with her as he thought. It would be a huge gamble, but if he were to go on a date with Ginny, maybe Gwen would realise that she didn't want him to be with anyone else but her.

"First week of February, but I'll probably start my own personal training regime next week," he said.

	Gwen was trying really hard to be pleasant, but the idea of Ginny bloody Weasley was getting her. So instead she looked at the bottle and smiled at Adrian, lightly resting her hand on his knee. 	"Not at all," he said, reaching for the bottle without moving his leg, not willing to lose that small amount of contact, even for a second. He poured her another glass and topped up his own, the placed it back on the coffee table. "Mostly in the gym for weight training, but also a bit of cardio. Jogging is good. Do you do much exercie?" Smiling as Adrian filled up her glass. "Cheers." She said, as she picked up her glass again, removing her hand from Adrian's knee after a few moments. "That's good, I have noticed that you've changed a lot, but well it's been ages." Gwen nodded. "I do a bit of spinning, and I take a dance class every week." She took another few sips from her glass. In truth she preferred reducing food over increasing exercise, but the classes were fun at least. "I don't try to stay too it, but a bit of something doesn't hurt, especially if it's fun."

	He didn't like that she moved her hand away, he again hid his expression in his glass. He sensed an opportunity to spend more time together. "Well, actually, I was reading that some of the Muggle football players use dancing. It can be a good cardio workout, or something," he said, idly. "I was thinking about taking some lessons. "Do they really?" Gwendolyn asked in surprise, though she couldn't hide the small smile at the thought of Adrian attending the class with her. "There's that studio not too far from Flourish." Gwen said, pausing to take a sip. "Mind you, it's a proper work-out class, so it can be tough." Gwen explained. "It's on Wednesday nights at six, and I'm sure you'd enjoy it. I sometimes take the Latin dance classes on Thursdays as well."

"That's just what I read. I read quite a few fitness magazines. It was in Quidditch Monthly once," he said, trying to sound casual. "But yeah, if I've got the time, I wouldn't mind it. If you don't mind me being there, of course."

He liked the idea of doing a latin dance with her. He'd seen them done before, and it was full of sexually charged energy. They'd certainly steam up the floor as they had plenty of that.

"No, of course I wouldn't mind. We could always use more men at the dance class. And I wouldn't mind seeing you try to dance." Gwen said, her eyes meeting his and giggling softly at the thought. It was a teasing smile, accompanied by a light brush of his knee. Taking another sip from her glass, Gwen smiled at him again. "Mind you, it's not a beginner class, so we might have to have some private lessons."

	Thanks to Jess, he was already a pretty accomplished dancer, as Gwen well knew. They'd danced together a couple of times now, but her teasing touch had him catching her fingers in his hand and tugging her to her feet as he stood. Gwendolyn didn't doubt his ability, but teasing him felt good, maybe a little less tense than things usually were between the two of them. He caught her hand and she gasped but giggled as he pulled her up.

"Right, lets give Salsa a try then?" Gwendolyn suggested as she stood up straight. Her hand went to his waist the other clasping his hand. They didn't have any music, that that was okay, she could still sing it in her head. "Have you ever danced it?" Gwendolyn asked. "We'll take it in a few steps, 1, 2, 3 okay?"

	He hadn't really expected her not to play along but he was still glad when she did. He curled his fingers around hers and put his hand at her hip. He had learned to waltz and to tango, but the salsa was new to him. "Not yet," he answered. "Okay, show me." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Gwendolyn smiled at him, adjusting his hand briefly. She stepped back for a moment, still keeping his hand on her hip. "Okay, just look down at my feet." Gwendolyn said, looking down and hoping she had given him enough space so he could see properly.

"Right, so you're going to step toward me. Forward first." Gwen said, stepping back to show him. "Don't move yet." She warned. "So step forward, then put your weight back on your back foot and feet back together." She said, as she moved, slowly,. her hips swaying as she moved. "Think you got that?" She said, looking up at him now.

	It was quite difficult to keep his eyes on her feet when her hips were swaying so enticingly but he managed to concentrate enough to start following her steps. "I think so," he said as he started to mimic her. "Like this?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Gwendolyn nodded, looking down so she could make sure that he was doing as she'd said. "Very good." She said as her hands moved down to his hips now. "Now, move your hips a bit more, gives it a bit of a flair." Gwen added. "Okay, next step is pretty much the same." She said as she demonstrated, stepping toward him this time, biting her lip as she got in close. Then she rocked back on her back leg and brought them together. "So see, you're going to step back this time, and do the same." She said, running her tongue over her bottom lip before looking back up at Adrian. "They go together. Forward step, rock, step, then back step, rock, step." Gwendolyn explained, hoping that it made sense.

Did she even realise she was doing that with her mouth? He found his gaze moving to her lips and when she rocked against him, he started to get hard despite his best efforts not to. Still, somehow he managed to follow her instructions even if he might have picked it up quicker if someone he didn't constantly want had been teaching him.

"Shall we try with some music?" he asked, needing a bit a distance to get himself under ccontrol.

Watching Adrian with interest, Gwendolyn nodded in approval as Adrian did as she asked. She stepped in close and for a brief moment she was tempted to kiss him again, but held back, knowing they would only end up in his bed, and although that was definitely what she wanted, she was enjoying his company too. At his question, Gwendolyn paused and looked back up at Adrian. She nodded. "Yes, do you have anything we could use?" She asked, glancing around the large room for the wireless.

	Adrian walked over to the cabinet that hid the wireless and opened it. He flipped the power on and started to search for some music. "Just say stop when you hear something," he said. Flipping through the channels, Gwendolyn waited until she heard something appropriate. "There." she said, and he tuned it properly before heading back to her. When he held out his hand she smiled and nodded.

"It would be a pleasure." She said smoothly as she took his hand. "Now, just the steps we practised, okay?" She said, as she started to move in the same steps, counting out loud for him, in the hopes that it would help.

He nodded as he took her in his arms and started to move, using the steps she had taught him, glad she was counting as it meant he didn't have to. Thankfully, concentrating on not stepping on her toes kept him from letting her proximity get him too excited. It was nice, to just be with her and not letting their passion for each other cloud things. He wondered if he would be able to say no to her, if she did make a move. It would be better for him, as he couldn't separate his body and his heart when it came to her.

"How am I doing?" he asked after a few minutes.

"Really well." Gwen said smiling at him, between counts. "Now lets make it a little difficult." Gwen said, a glint in her eye. "A twirl." She sat as she showed him, stepping toward him. "Just keep your hand up and I'll twirl under it." She said, as she stepped out and twirled beneath his arm. "Now back toward you. Wrap your arms around me." She said as she spun toward him, pausing a moment in his arms before started back up in the steps they'd already practised. "And now a little faster."

	When she prompted him to, he held up his arm and she spun under it, her hair sweeping past his face. Then, she spun back towards him, and he wrapped his arms around her like she told him to. Well, that was fairly easy, and he handled the second time just as well. "You're so graceful," he murmured when she was in his arms again, swaying against him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"And you are a very quick study." Gwendolyn retorted with a smile up at Adrian. She leaned in game him a quick peck on the lips before making him spin her out again.
