Maybe it was just that he was in love with her, but whenever Gwendolyn was on the stage, Adrian found he couldn't keep his eyes off her. She seemed to steal every scene, so when the curtain finally dropped and the lights came on, Adrian found himself on his feet, giving a standing ovation, something he'd never done before. The crowd started to move out of the theatre, and Adrian found himself excited to see her. He'd planned an extravagant night for their first Valentine's together since Hogwarts, and he couldn't wait to see if she liked it.

Astoria thought he was crazy, he knew, because he didn't believe he had much of a chance of changing Gwen's heart about how she felt, but he still wanted to give her everything he could. With Stori's help, he had the whole evening planned out.

Holding a single red rose, he waited at the side door, much like he had the first time he'd come to see her in a play, only this time, he wasn't nervous that she'd just slap him and walk away.

"You were great!" he said, when she finally came out. "This is for you."

Personally, Adrian didn't think Gwendolyn needed anything more that what she was wearing to make her the most beautiful girl in the world. She took his breath away.

"You deserve it," he whispered against her mouth. "Now, I believe it's time for my dessert. Lie on the bed, please." He went back into the bathroom, hanging up the wet towels, and retrieving the remaining strawberries before rejoining her. He placed the plate beside her on the bed and moved to crawl up, parting her legs with his hands as he went, then kneeling between her knees. "You're breathtaking, Gwendolyn."

He bent his head to kiss one knee, sliding his hand down her outer thigh to grasp one of the berries. With his lips still against her skin, he met her eyes with a wicked smirk before he dragged the strawberry up her leg. Gwen smiled against his lips at his words. He really did make her feel amazing at times. At his request, Gwendolyn nodded. She glanced down at her towel, briefly before deciding to leave it and walking over to the bed. She laid down, scooting so that she was in the centre of the bed. She waited eagerly in anticipation for him to return to her. She then parted her thighs as he moved up between them.

He pushed the plate aside with one hand, not caring about it toppling to the floor, and with the other, lined himself up with her body before pushing into her waiting body.

It was almost a shame that she came as soon as she did because once her body started to clench around him, he couldn't stop himself from following her into a mind-blowing orgasm. Almost!
