Melinda had been working hard these past couple of days. And now that all of the creepiness was gone, she could now spray out the pie shoppe. She had put garlic around the doors to keep that nasty Vampire away, and it just smelled now. She was just glad that the pies that she had made, didn't taste like garlic. Taking all the garlic down and throwing it away, she went ahead and mopped the floors and made the place look presentable again. Looking at her watch, she knew that she was meeting Sookie later that night in their apartment. She was excited about it, they both were busy and it was about time that they could have some roommate bonding time.

Instead of throwing away the pies that she needed to get rid of, she thought that she could take a couple of them home and then see if the Winchester family wanted the rest. It wasn't as if the pies were old, but they needed to be replaced with new ones. Grabbing her jacket, she grabbed the pies and headed on out. She stopped at the video store and gotten a few romantic comedy movies and also a few dramas.

Then she walked back to the apartment. She would just call in for Chinese food when Sookie got there. Setting everything on the counter, and then put the pies in the fridge. Then she just sat on the couch and turned on the TV and waited for Sookie to get home.

Melinda was sitting there on the couch just relaxing, getting ready for an epic night with her roommate. They hadn't had much roommate time, and she was seriously looking forward to it. As she was sitting on the couch flipping through the channels, she just put it on a random movie. Not really knowing what it was about, but it seemed interesting.

When she heard Sookie coming through the door, she smiled. "YAY!" She said laughing. "How was work for you?" She asked, "So I got a couple movies here and there and a couple pies and I thought we could order Chinese, or perhaps pizza. But I've ordered out pizza a lot recently." She laughed.

"That's true.... we have." She agreed, as she joined the other girl on the couch. "I don't mind Chinese. I don't get it much. The South is not a great place for foreign food." She said, laughing. "At least, not in Bon Temps. I usually cooked for myself."

Sookie put down the junk food she'd gotten. "What movies did you get?" She asked, as she took off her shoes and got comfortable. Sookie was not really picky when it came to movies, she'd watch just about anything, except action movies. She hated action movies.
