Sookie couldn't help but feel exhausted. Dean had been nice enough and she had been glad for the chance to get away from the watchful eye of a certain possessive vampire. But after weeks of being in a new place with people she didn't know, she was just ready to be in a space she could call her own.

Her feet ached as she climbed the last of the stairs up to her floor. Wearily, she opened the door to 609. She didn't even bother to turn on the lights as she made her way across the room and fell flat faced onto her bed.

	Eric moved off of the bed and walked over to Sookie, standing close to her and looking at her. "Whether you choose to believe it or not, I do care about you and as much as you don't want to admit it, I can tell that you care for me." Eric paused for a few moments.
