Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:eric northman, sookie stackhouse

WHO: Sookie Stackhouse
WHAT: Sookie is tossed from the library and realizes she's not in Bon Temps anymore.
WHEN: December 21st; Afternoon
WHERE:
RATING: PG
STATUS: In Progress

Sookie stumbled as she's practically pushed from the massive library. Catching herself she looks back and exclaims.

"Hey!"

She reached for the doors as they closed, only to find them locked. Using her fists, she pounds on the doors.

"Will someone tell me where the hell I am?"

Remembering the device that had been shoved into her hand before the guards locked her out of the building, she stares down at it blankly. Thinking it looks like some form of phone, but none like she had ever used before.

"Well... hell."

She wishes she were more technologically advanced as her gray-blue eyes look around, taking in her surroundings and searching for a friendly, or even familiar face.

Eric nodded as Sookie spoke and he looked around, surveying their surroundings.

"Your arrival is similar to mine. I found myself being evicted from the library. I'm not entirely sure where here is but I have been told that it is called Colligo. There's many different people here. I do not know why we have been brought here. All I have been told is that we have caught the eye of some being by the name of the "Collector"."

Eric stepped closer. "But now that you are here, I may have to thank the Collector."

Sookie took a step back as Eric moved forward. She hated the effect his mere presence had on him. He was gorgeous, cocky and loomed over her easily. She gulped as her back pressed against the wall of the library.

She opened her mouth to reply, when the strange cell-like thing begins to buzz. As she held it up to see why, her face displayed her confusion as she couldn't figure out how to make the buzzing stop.

"What the heck is this?"

Eyes narrowed as she heard the similar object in his hand buzz.

Eric was enjoying this. He could tell that he was having an effect on Sookie. It really bothered him that he couldn't remember the events that took place when he had lost his memories but he was confident that Sookie would give the information up if he was persistent enough.

Eric felt a buzz of the device in his hand. "This is some sort of communication device. Similar to a cell phone." He thumbed through the message. "It seems that we have been given a room and it appears that you are looking at your new room mate."

Well this was interesting indeed. Eric couldn't be more pleased but he held it in although he did wear a smug smirk.

Sookie blinked as Eric informed her of his new status as her roommate.

"Excuse me? You're my what?"

She looked down at the device, her fingers pushed at the buttons. She couldn't figure out how to pull up whatever message Eric had read. Sookie couldn't believe anyone would possibly room her and Eric together.

Not that she hadn't enjoyed her time with Eric, but that wasn't the real Eric. Eric was arrogant, self-centered, high-handed and the vampire she had spent time with had be sweet, generous with compliments, and loving.

Oh no, Sookie had no intentions of rooming with the Viking vampire.

Eric smirked at Sookie's obvious disapproval of the situation. He didn't like the idea that some unknown person had abducted him but he had to admit that he was enjoying this. He had the telepath to himself. As far as he knew, Compton wasn't here and neither was Alcide and he planned to take full advantage of the situation.

Eric stepped up to Sookie, taking her PDA from her and pointing at a button. "Push this one to read your messages." Eric pushed it and the message with the room assignment popped up.

"Which side of the bed do you prefer my lover? Left or right?" He grinned.

Sookie supposed she should be thankful she wasn't alone in the odd city, but she couldn't stand the smug look on his face.

She snatched the phone-like object back from Eric and almost thanked him for showing her how to use it, until his question about the bed situation. She knew he enjoyed getting a rise out of her and for once, she wouldn't allow herself to fall prey to it.

A smirk curled on her lips as she walked past him, she glanced back only for a brief moment.

"It's a shame you can't remember."

Eric growled lowly at Sookie's answer. The fact that he didn't remember what happened to him when he was under the witch's spell was a sore spot for him.

Following Sookie, he leaned down closer to her ear. "Tell me Sookie. Tell me what happened. Although, there are other ways for us to attempt to jog my memory." He smirked.

He knew she would talk. It was only a matter of time.

Sookie felt a shiver run through her body as his cool breath hit her ear. Determined to not allow him the privilege of knowing he had any effect on her, she continued down the street.

Nothing looked familiar as she tried to navigate her way to her "housing". She couldn't help but hope there was someone who could possibly clear up the confusion. Let her know where she was and how to get home. That's all she wanted.

"You can enjoy trying to jog your own memory by yourself, Eric. I have more important things to deal with at the moment."

Eric walked with Sookie, he did not want to leave her alone on her own in this strange place. Eric didn't know what the threats were and he didn't want any other vampire trying to hurt her.

"I will remember one day Sookie. I do not know why you insist on not telling me what happened. What harm could come from telling me?"

They continued to walk until they approached a building. "I think this is where we are staying." Eric frowned. It didn't look as lavish as his home in Shreveport.

"I would like to know who brought us here and why." He growled lowly. "I have a few words for him."

Sookie sighed as they reached the tall building that was to be her new home. She wished for nothing more than to find herself in her familiar family home, instead of in some strange place.

Eric was going to try to take advantage of the situation, Sookie was sure of that. He'd insist on trying to protect her and it was only the knowledge she held within her pretty little head, that kept his ego in check.

"Have you ever considered it doesn't matter what did or didn't happen, Eric?" she sighed as she entered the front doors, "That it doesn't change anything?"
