With the reactionary, the impulsive, it was always just a matter of finding the right issues to press on. With a few well placed words and the vaguest of insinuations, he was able to save himself from exercising a great deal of energy in tracking and cornering an individual. With a few well placed words, he was more than capable of getting them to come to him. And that was exactly what he was doing now, after having taken in the situation in this city, throwing out lines to both Deans and Ruby to see just who bit first. It seemed as though he was going to get the pleasure of the young demon's company first which was perfectly all right with him. Better to get her out of the way so that when he did find himself toe to toe with the collective powers of whatever opposition the Winchesters could muster, they would at least be down one.
Lingering just down the street from the main housing complex, Alastair leaned back against the wall of one of the buildings, a vague smile on his features, "I had wondered how long it would take you to decide that text was hardly an adequate way to get your point across. Did you tell him what you were doing? Or did you leave little Sammy blissfully unaware? I can only imagine he wouldn't have taken it well if you'd been at all honest." Alastair sighed, talking to the open air. Really, it would only be a matter of time until she happened upon him, and it didn't really matter how much she heard. Only that she caught part of it.
"Though, it would have been nice if he'd insisted on coming along," He drawled to the night air. "Two for one, and a direct line to that little kidling you're so protective of. I'm sure you'd love to see just what I'm thinking of doing with him, with all of them. If I can't persuade Dean back, then I'll just have to start from scratch. How does that sound?" Alastair asked, flicking his gaze at a local who had stopped to stare at him, his features tightening as he glared at them. "What? You've never seen a guy stand on a street corner and talk to himself before? Move along!"
