Who: Gwen and Neria
What: Neria always wants to check in on Gwen and Abigail. Now she is.
Where: Gwen's flat
When: Just after lunch time
Rating: Low
Status: In Progress.

Guinevere had finished Abigail's feed and changing her, something she could do exceptionally quickly now. She had fumbled a little, taking her time to be as gentle as possible with her when Abigail was born and a lot tinier but things were different now. She knew she could actually be a lot firmer with how she handled her when it came to changing her clothes, she knew how much she could do without harming her daughter. It was something a mother, and father by the way Arthur handled her, learned with ease pretty quickly. And, well, when she was alone without Arthur to help her, she tended to do the tasks quickly just so she was able to do everything else that needed doing.

"That's better, is it not?"

She smiled a little at her small smile in response, laughing when she gurgled at that. Moving to the soft mat on the floor for her, she placed her down so she was able to roll over if she wished, or to simply grasp at things. She was learning, and really did enjoy playing with the few toys she had. Well, the few toys Gwen had placed out today, really her favourites actually. Or so Gwen would claim. She was just about to go and put the dirtier clothes in the wash when there was a knock at the door. Checking on Abigail as she walked, she opened the door and smiled when she saw who it was. She could tell the difference now.

"Neria? Come in."

Neria had given Gwen her space, but had not stopped worrying about her. Something had clearly been bothering her friend, and she wanted to be sure that Gwen was all right. Besides, she really wanted to see Abigail. The infant was terribly sweet and she loved any excuse to see her.

She smiled when Gwen answered the door and gave the other woman a hug. "How are you, Gwen?" she asked. "I hope it isn't a bad time...I just wanted to come by and see you. It has been a while and I missed your company."

She welcomed the hug, her eyes closing for a moment as she just allowed herself to be held. Seeing her face just reminded her of how much she missed Morgana, but she didn't know how they were going to come back from this. Things that happened here were often forgotten back home, so she couldn't prevent that from happening. She couldn't stop Morgana being that person, and one day she would try to kill her. She would attack Camelot, lie to her. And for some reason, the lies are what hurt more.

"I'm fine," she said quietly against Neria's hair, before pulling back. If she didn't she would find herself just imagining she was still with Morgana. When she looked at Neria's face, she could tell it wasn't her. "No it isn't. Abigail's on the floor playing."

Hopefully she was still where she put her. That girl was getting too good at rolling away from her.
