Lily had found it strange to arrive here instead of the hospital, and even though James was here she needed some time to herself. After all it wasn't the most normal of situations to find yourself in and she really didn't want to stress herself out in her situation, so after she went back to where she apparently had to stay, luckily with James, she told him she wanted to go for a walk to clear her head and left. It kept her comfortable of course, as strange as it was. Most think that when pregnant you just want to sit about but Lily really just wanted to keep moving.

But after walking so far her feet were starting to ache and she moved to find a bench to relax on, but it was so far away. Taking a deep breath, she decided she might as well just sit on the grass. But once she had she realised she really should not have done that; it would be impossible to get up without help now. Sighing, she placed a hand on her stomach and just relaxed. If she wanted to get up later, and couldn't do it alone, she'd just give in and send a message to James.

Regulus had become accustomed to walking almost daily in the park, both Apollo and Athena loved going to the park and couldn’t go more than a few days without running about the paths – or more, Regulus couldn’t take their incessant asking for more than a few days before caving, sometimes to just stop the litany of requests. (Of course, he used that excuse more often to hide the soft spot that had mysteriously and magically developed once they were born, he denies the existence of said soft spot).

And now he had a moment away from his two, the slime creature and the one that reminded him a lot of the youngest girl in that animated film, Despicable Me (which was a favorite of his children, incidentally), Juno dubbed her the fluffy creature. Regulus had not taken to fatherhood with a graceful and easy manner, who would have thought otherwise, but it wasn’t as if he could change that on-coming charging bull of reality, and eventually he had adjusted. And it felt odd to be child-free.

When Regulus felt out of place or distressed, even in the slightest he reached for comforting routines. This was by far on of the least difficult of things to happen to him in Colligo, but it still had disrupted his life. He found walking in the park to be that bit of routine he needed to right the unbalance of his world.

And the day was pleasant enough to make a slow stroll enjoyable.

He saw Lily from a distance, it was hard to miss her red hair. And as he drew near he saw that she was pregnant. Back home she and James had married and had started their own family. She looked about that age now, which gave Regulus some relief, the more people here from around his own time the easier he felt. And while he and Lily never became close friends, they were at least on pleasant speaking terms.

“Been sent back like the lot of us, ya?” He asked when he drew close enough that he didn’t have to shout.

Lily looked up when she heard someone speak to her, frowning a little when she saw who it was. She had seen the face in pictures, as well as occasionally in Hogwarts, but it had aged. And she really had not expected to see him here. They weren't exactly straight out enemies, she just avoided him as much as she could since she knew what he was like. Plus it didn't matter, she had her own friends, she didn't have to bother with Regulus Black.

"Sent back? What do you mean?"

Okay so she wasn't entirely happy about speaking to him but he was acting as though they were friends and she was confused. And curious, of course. She would find out what he means then leave.

From that answer and less than neutral tone of voice Regulus could tell that Lily was, in fact, not from his time. Right, that would mean this was someone potentially hostile towards him. He sighed. In a normal city something ten years in the past didn't come up afresh the same way it did here in Colligo.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were from the future, two-thousand twenty-one." He'd stopped walking towards her now. "You and I know each other," not exactly well, but well enough considering the Sirius connection.

Lily's eyebrow rose at that, wanting to question if his sanity really had been lost. Which wouldn't be shocking considering some of the things she knew about him, though of course she didn't know everything. She didn't want to know everything.

"We do? And how do we know each other?"

She had never really spoken to him before, not a lot really. Maybe a word or two but he didn't want anything to do with a girl like her. Though she obviously could see that he was a lot older than how she last saw him.
