RATING: TBD
STATUS: In progress
Jeremy didn't know what was going on in his head right now. On the one hand, he was so glad he was back to normal. However, that meant that Vicki was a vampire again, and he knew how hard that really was for her. He wanted to support her, be with her, but now Anna was here too, and he couldn't just ignore her. She'd been dead. He'd missed her. He had to admit, although maybe not out loud, he still had feelings for her. But he was with Vicki now. He should be happy about that, but somehow it all just felt like a massive mess with him stuck right in the middle.
He felt quite guilty as he slipped out of the appartment he shared with his sister and headed downstairs. He was actually glad Anna was out in the park, in daylight, because he knew it would avoid any sort of confrontation with Vicki, who would be stuck inside at least until nightfall. He hated feeling like he was sneaking around behind her back, but she'd sounded so vulnerable earlier, and he didn't want to hurt her. Still, he wanted to see Anna, so much the need was almost palpable. He wanted to check her over, make sure she was alright, make sure she was actually real.
Jeremy pulled his hood up over his head as he made his way out of the building, heading towards the park. There was nothing wrong with just seeing Anna. She was his friend before she'd been his girlfriend... The whole time difference thing might be a bit awkward, but his first concern was making sure she was alright. He just wished he could convince himself that was the only reason he wanted to see her.
He tried to stop thinking about it the rest of the way to the park. He was going to be happy to see Anna, no matter what. He was determined about that. He hadn't said exactly where to meet him, and the park wasn't exactly small, so he looked around as he made his way into the green space. This city was very different to Mystic Falls, but he was beginning to get his bearings here. It hadn't helped that he'd been stuck inside for ages, confined by both the sun and his fear of hurting someone if he ventured out at night.
Jeremy stopped by a bench, scanning the park for Anna. It was terrible, but he was worried he might not recognise her. It had been months for him since her death and her image in his memory was beginning to become fuzzy around the edges. It had been the same with his parents and Vicki. It was almost like losing them all over again. Somehow this place had given him a second chance with Vicki, and now with Anna. He wasn't going to waste it by brooding about a situation that might or might not turn awkward.
