Who: Eames and Morpheus
What: Teatime!
When: Last night after this
Where: Sixth floor corridor, Building A.

Eames only realised after he'd made the two mugs of tea that he hadn't bothered to ask Morpheus how he took it. He'd just automatically made two mugs the way he liked tea (strong, no sugar, a spot of milk) and he had to hope that would be okay. Digging in the cupboard, he found the last packet of Jaffa cakes and decided that he should introduce the boss to the reality of the lovely little biscuitty-cake things.

Armed with his tea and biscuits (one mug in each hand, and the box tucked under his arm), he went round to Morpheus's front door and kicked it twice. He had no free hands, after all. "Come on, boss, open up," he said, just loud enough to be heard in the flat, "I've got tea and Jaffa cakes. This combination can cure most things that ail you. Proven fact." The only other biscuits that came close were either custard creams or chocolate hobnobs, and they weren't that close, in Eames' humble opinion.

"Good Lord, having to teach like a normal person," he said with a smile. "If I could do what you usually do with my art class, we'd be churning out masterpieces every week. I haven't been near my class, actually. I didn't want to risk it, so Mr. Earnshaw had an unfortunate relapse of his nasty flu."

He took another mouthful of tea and then gestured towards the Jaffa cakes. "Try them. I won't be offended if your opinion of them is wrong."

"It's a good thing your students know that Mr. Earnshaw has a cousin, so they won't mistake your roommate for you, playing hooky." Though it seemed Eames wasn't all that unlike his nineteenth century counterpart.

Dream picked up one of the cakes and nibbled on it thoughtfully, savoring the chocolate and orange, then nodded, and finished it off. "It is good," he said, "But it would be better if it was baked from scratch and warm from the oven."
