WHO: Juno & Ariadne, with guest appearances by Regulus & Eames.
WHAT: Juno goes out to play in the snow. Merry Mistletoe Madness ensues.
WHEN: Thursday afternoon, while Reg & Eames are out pub-crawling
WHERE: Outdoors
RATING: PG13 for girl-on-girl smoochin'?
STATUS: In Progress

Juno had finished wrapping all the gifts that she'd collected, and bundled up to go play abdominal snow-monster. Yes, abdominal, because she was so round in the middle. There was really no hiding the bump now, even in her big, puffy jacket.

She'd tossed a few snowballs with some random kids, built a series of snow-persons, and miraculously managed to avoid being accosted by any stray mistletoe. She was feeling pretty pleased with herself as she tromped through the sparkling white drifts, finally finding one that was unspoiled by boot-prints.

It sloped gently upward, so that she could lean backward and fall onto it without too much difficulty, arms and legs akimbo. She wiggled them a little, giggling as she created her snow-angel. It would probably have a slightly deeper indentation in the middle where her butt had hit first. Getting again up would be the tricky part.

Juno floundered a few steps through the snow toward Regulus. Not that she was running from Ariadne, she was just attempting to put some distance between herself and the tricksy little wreath. She didn't think she'd met anything quite so unholy as Colligo's brand of mistletoe since she'd first made acquaintance with the little pink plus sign on a certain pregnancy test.

"You're so full of shit, Reg," she blurted out, "Ariadne is so a good kisser."

Regulus didn't need to be asked twice to destroy that particularly nasty weed, though he may have gone a bit overboard and ended up setting the whole wreath on fire in one spell. Anyone who complained might just get the same treatment, or an extremely exasperated glare. Christmas was over in two days, he had to remind himself. Just two more days of this free-will take over and then they might be done until the following year.

He was about to echo Eames, who he was rather pointedly not looking at, something that he wished he was better at hiding, but Juno seemed to beat him to speaking. And shocking everyone all over again. Damn her wildly unpredictable, and apparently rather kissable mouth.

He shifted his gaze nervously between his three friends, feeling like he'd just walked into a dragon trap that was tentatively being propped open on the worlds rustiest hinges. If he didn't choose his words carefully he would be in a rather precarious cauldron of boiling potion. "I rather emphatically focused on not liking being forced to do something I didn't want to do, by having my will taken away."
