WHO: Guinevere and OPEN
WHAT: Some thinking time
WHEN: Early afternoon
WHERE: The park
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress

Guinevere looked up at the sky, dropping her head back to rest it against the wood of the bench. The baby had stopped moving as much, something that had scared her at first but once she had read up on things at the stage she was at now she knew that it was okay. She was just too big to wriggle much now, even if she did still get the occasional thump in her side. It terrified her thinking she didn't have long until she would be a mother and would be responsible for something so tiny and so dependent on her. She just had to be thankful that she had Arthur, Morgana, Merlin and maybe even Uther to help her.

She took a deep breath, taking in the cool air. Almost freezing, really. But she could stay a little longer. And by the sound of quiet barking, so could Esme. If she spent another moment in the apartment she knew her small dog would go insane. It was just difficult to get out as much now, considering it took her longer to do simple things such as get ready. She probably shouldn't have sat down, that's going to take a while to get out of.

Sighing softly, she kept her eyes closed. It was easier to forget, almost, the burden she felt when she couldn't see the large bump of her stomach. Not that she could really ignore it. She never could, no matter how lost she got in her own head or how hard she tried. But then again, she didn't want to forget. But that didn't mean she didn't have other things she wished had happened differently. Having her father's tools turn up only helped her remember those she really wished were here. Her parents and her brother. She had a family in this place, she knew that she did, but that didn't make things easy.

It wasn't until then she realised she was crying. She missed them. She missed them desperately.

Juno paused at the sound of Gwen's voice. She'd noticed the other woman and been considering leaving quietly while she wasn't looking, so as not to invade Gwen's privacy, but now it would be rude not to acknowledge her.

"Not really," she said, shaking her head. "I guess I'm just a little stressed out."

"I can imagine."

Being pregnant was stressful enough, and she didn't know much of Juno's situation, but she didn't think she had the father to help her through this. She had the support of the people who were essentially her family, and although the stress never disappeared it at least lightened.

"Would you like to sit and talk about it?"

She didn't mind. After all, it was the least she could do.

{OOC: Omg i deleted this notif by accident and then forgot about it, i'm soooo sorry!}

Juno nodded, easing herself to a seat, setting her book bag down at her feet. Just five months, and she was already noticing the shift in balance as her belly grew bigger and bigger.

"It's just so..." She rolled her eyes a little, searching for words. "Complicated. Paulie Bleeker--that's the baby's dad--and I have been friends for a really long time, and then one day, one thing led to another..." She paused, sniffling a little, but she pretended it was from the cold.

"Bleeker didn't really say anything one way or the other, and we're not really even a couple, so I just decided to give the baby up for adoption. I had this nice couple all picked out, and then, surprise! I wake up here, and there's no way home, so I have to start all over again. But then Castiel got sent back, and Sam's really depressed, so I don't know if he still wants to adopt a baby by himself, and I don't have anybody..."

She swallowed, and rephrased. "I'm afraid I won't have anybody there with me. Even if I hadn't messed things up with Regulus, there's no way he's going to be in the delivery room. He almost threw up, just watching them do the ultrasound. And besides, he's been acting like a jerk lately."

There. She'd managed to spill it all out, from homesickness to her conflicted feelings about everything from the adoption process to Paulie Bleeker and Regulus Black. "I guess it never rains but it pours."

Gwen kept her eyes on Juno as she spoke, biting her lip as she told her story. She felt sympathy for her, that was an added stress she really did not need. It seemed like she had been waiting for this opportunity to talk to someone and Gwen was not going to interrupt. When she stopped, Gwen still did not return conversation. She could just tell that there was more Juno needed to get off her chest. Soon she was finished and she reached out, placing a hand over hers.

"I can imagine how hard that must be on you. If you want to, I will help you in every way I can. I know you don't really know me but I don't want you going through this yourself."

She would never make someone go through something like this on their own. She didn't think she would manage this as well as she had without help.

"Thanks, Gwen," Juno murmured, letting out another sigh. "I know you've got a lot going on, too, and I hate to give you extra worries." At least Gwen had Arthur. She felt even worse burdening Dawn, now that Adam had disappeared.

"I guess maybe I should talk to Sam, and find out where he stands, but I wanted to give him some time, you know? He seems like the kind of person who'd work himself sick to take care of everybody else, just to keep his mind off things, and I don't want to see him crash and burn." She hadn't known him very long, but she already thought of him like a brother of sorts.

"You're not giving me extra worries. If you ever need help or someone to talk to, I'm always willing."

She nodded, agree with what Juno was saying. Yes Sam would need time if he had lost someone and she completely understood that way of being. If something upset her, she often focused on others rather than herself. Maybe that would help Juno.

"Yes he deserves time, but you're in a situation where you don't need added stress. Just talk to him, I'm sure he'll understand."
