WHO: Guinevere and OPEN WHAT: Some thinking time WHEN: Early afternoon WHERE: The park RATING: TBD STATUS: In Progress
Guinevere looked up at the sky, dropping her head back to rest it against the wood of the bench. The baby had stopped moving as much, something that had scared her at first but once she had read up on things at the stage she was at now she knew that it was okay. She was just too big to wriggle much now, even if she did still get the occasional thump in her side. It terrified her thinking she didn't have long until she would be a mother and would be responsible for something so tiny and so dependent on her. She just had to be thankful that she had Arthur, Morgana, Merlin and maybe even Uther to help her.
She took a deep breath, taking in the cool air. Almost freezing, really. But she could stay a little longer. And by the sound of quiet barking, so could Esme. If she spent another moment in the apartment she knew her small dog would go insane. It was just difficult to get out as much now, considering it took her longer to do simple things such as get ready. She probably shouldn't have sat down, that's going to take a while to get out of.
Sighing softly, she kept her eyes closed. It was easier to forget, almost, the burden she felt when she couldn't see the large bump of her stomach. Not that she could really ignore it. She never could, no matter how lost she got in her own head or how hard she tried. But then again, she didn't want to forget. But that didn't mean she didn't have other things she wished had happened differently. Having her father's tools turn up only helped her remember those she really wished were here. Her parents and her brother. She had a family in this place, she knew that she did, but that didn't make things easy.
It wasn't until then she realised she was crying. She missed them. She missed them desperately.
