WHO: Gabriel "Sylar" Gray & Darla
WHAT: A bit of sport
WHERE: The Warehouse District
WHEN: After this
RATING: R for violence
STATUS: In Progress

His departure might have raised a few questions. Going out in the middle of the night when you had an infant to tend to wasn't exactly kosher, but Sylar had explained vaguely. Spot of trouble that had to be dealt without, shouldn't take more than an hour or two, be back as quietly as possible. He wasn't exactly lying. Darla definitely was a spot of trouble, and if this fight went well, it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours. Of course, the issue came in 'dealt with', but the flexible meaning of that statement was more than enough to soothe whatever was left of his conscience at the moment.

It had taken him approximately fifteen minutes to reach the Warehouse District from his apartment balcony, touching down smoothly and glancing around for any sign of life that might mean that an ambush was in store for him. Keeping his ears as well as his eyes perked, Sylar was able to recognize the smallest sounds, the skittering of the occasional rat, the few workers left opening and closing doors during nightly checks, and the tell tale sound of approaching footsteps.

Stopping dead in his tracks, gazing shifting slowly behind him, Sylar waited and strained. When he could hear the sound of her heartbeat, he'd strike.

Sylar was taken by surprise. That didn't happen often, but he certainly hadn't heard what he had been waiting for nor had he expected an aerial attack. As her fist came up far too fast for his still stunned mind to spring into action fast enough to stop it, the punch met its mark, sending him tumbling backwards several feet and slamming hard into the brickwall of a nearby building. It was a blow that would have left any normal person begging for mercy, but Sylar simply pushed himself up, the broken bones mending themselves, the cuts and scraps healing over at he stood, smirking slowly.

"Ouch."

A split second later, lightening was erupting from his hands and searing its way towards Darla.
