Who: Kristina Snow OPEN!
What: Playing? Out in the snow.
When: Noonish
Where: park off in a wooded area
Rating: TBD PG as of now

She half way regretted all the wrongs in her life, and the fact that she no longer possessed the want to right those wrongs. She sighed looking out the window the snow seemed light and soft almost like something out of a movie. Without a second thought she twirled picking up her scarf and heading straight towards the door.

The air out side had a bite to it as it nipped the tip of her nose. She was sure by now her cheeks were bright red and she looked kinda like a crack whore. A memory flashed through her brain as she badly wanted to taste the monster back under her bed. The drugs she had tried to stop had wondered into her life again to take the spot of her love. Snapping back into the real world she looked around the park seemed abandoned. She hadn't noticed where she had walked but a slight smile crossed her lips as she looked at a closed pool. Heading the opposite direction she wondered towards trees where no person would bother her.

The grass was covered in white snow and that made her smile a small piece of grass was still uncovered and it reminded her of her life. Sitting down on a flat rock she shivered but didn't mind it much due to the warmth of her memories. She had been deep in thought when she heard the twig snap, she glanced up with deep blue eyes watching the figure of a person come closer.

"Well I wasn't about to let you tackle me," he said, grinning.

"Yeah, it certainly does bring people closer," he said.

"I have no idea, but oddly, it's not as bad as it first seemed."

"I was going to do it softly, plus you're a guy it shouldn't matter." She tilted her head "You have a nice smile." It was then that she kissed him quickly.

"This place is way better than my alternative that is for sure."

"Thanks, you have a nice smile too," he said, smiling wider.

His eyes widened for a moment when she suddenly kissed him.

Then she pulled back and spoke like nothing had happened.

"That's good."

Bree had taken control of the situation and planned to keep it that way. "Thanks, I haven't smiled this much in ages." She shivered slightly as Kristina dashed away, tossing a snow ball back towards him.

She turned and stared sticking her tongue out at him. "So, where do you come from?" She was determined not to let there ever be a dull moment in her life.

He managed to dodge the snowball again.

"I come from Tree Hill, North Carolina. How about you?" he asked.

Glaring at him she pouted crossing her arms and refusing to give in. "That's not fair you cheated!!!" She shouted playfully before recovering and walking toward him like a grown up.

"I'm from Nevada, never really had a place to call home..." She left out parts that would make it seem like that was all her fault."I did deserve what has happened to me, although it has been for the better." She never commented on her drug abuse, or her child, or lying, not even stealing. "I arrived here from the back of a police car...When were you put here?" She decided to ask a few questions as she dropped back and did a snow angel looking up at the sky getting fuller and darker with clouds.

He didn't ask what she'd done to end up in the back of a police car. If she wanted to tell him, she would and she didn't seem dangerous.

"I was in a hotel room. I wrote a book and it got published and I was doing a book tour."

"Hmm Books" She thought for a moment what type of book it could have been but since she never read she gave up.

The drugs were starting to wear off and so was her mask that she hid behind. She never opened up to anyone not even those she did love. But around him she was so loose so vulnerable. Sighing she wiped a tear from her cheek. "She is lucky to have someone like you." It was more of a statement than anything she knew he was taken and that stung a little to. Leaning in she kissed him longer more passionate and pleading.

"Yeah it's sorta about my life. Brooke, the girl whose here with me is half of the book. Another girl back home, Peyton, she's the other half."

"I'm lucky to have her," he said, smiling.

He was shocked when she kissed him. He gently pushed her back.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to... give you the wrong impression. But I can't do this. Brooke, she's amazing and I can't do this to her. I told her I won't hurt her again and I intend to keep the promise. I can be your friend, but more than that... I'm sorry. I just can't be that guy."

Kristina listened to the words that he was saying about two girls. He was pushing her away and every fiber of her being knew it but she didn't feel bad. "I know, I'm sorry, I am taken and well he is that guy.. I just..." She cut herself off and turned away mumbling under her breath.

"I guess with the holidays and all I got carried away." She gently patted him on the back with a beaten but friendly look. Smiling she pushed back the ashame fear and embarassment. "Friends?" She asked soflty in a questioning tone.

"It's okay. I just... I can't do that to her. I care about her too much."

"Yeah, friends. Like we can hang out and stuff, just without the kissing."

She laughed this time it was hoarse but she meant it in the best means possible. "Yeah without the kissing I promise." She put her hand up to her heart and the other in the air like a good oath.

Collapsing again in the snow on the ground she looked up at the stars and started humming... "So it's getting late.. I should get home." She stood up again and offered him her hand. "Farewell for now.. We should hang out sometime. Maybe somewhere warmer."

He shook her hand.

"Sure, sounds fun," he said, smiling. "And warmer would be better."
