Moriarty doesn't act crazy. He actually is. ([info]crimeconsultant) wrote in [info]colligo_network,

Oh look. This again. So terribly predictable.

Knowing Mycroft, that's just how he wants it to appear.

That is possible, although extremely unlikely in this particular situation.

You don't know him like I do.

You always were too emotionally vested to properly view any situation where he is concerned. It's really a rather glaring weakness of yours, in fact.

Yes, because that's exactly what I need, you showing up and pointing out all my faults.

However can you hope to improve if you aren't aware?

[Sherlock]
Oh honestly, Sherlock. It's so very obvious!

Even if your brother were willing to allow the city to remain in such disarray merely to maintain the facade of non-involvement, he would have made absolutely certain to intercept me before I was able to reach you. As we are speaking and I have yet to have so much as a glare tossed in my general direction by any public official whatsoever, clearly he has yet to acquire the reigns of this place.

Obvious.

Just don't point them out all at once, all right?

[Jim]
Pain.

Now where would the fun be in that?

[Sherlock]
Perhaps. However I'm also correct.

Watching me get progressively annoyed?

[Jim]
Yes. Fine. You're correct.

True. However even you must admit that is scarcely a difficult task in and of itself.

[Sherlock]
Of course I am. As I said, Mycroft has always been a blind spot of yours. All things considered, I'm surprised there haven't been attempts to use him against you to that end.

Point.

[Jim]
Use him against me how? I'm sure you know all too well that any attempts on his life would hardly motivate me.

I do tend to have them, you realize.

[Sherlock]
However would I know? I never said I would use him against you. Simply that I'm surprised attempts haven't been made in the past. Although, if I were to consider such a thing, a threat to his life would scarcely be the avenue I would consider.

It's possible there have been. I think anyone who decided to utilize Mycroft would very likely end up dead long before his plans came to fruition.

Precisely the reason I have zero intention of doing such a thing.

I never expected that you would.
