When I said I wanted to see someplace new and exciting, I didn't mean right now and I didn't mean someplace I ain't never heard of no ways. And I don't see why those guards gotta be rude on account of someone being in their lib'ry when I didn't ask to even be there in the first place. They could've just asked and I would've left just the same.

Now. Anybody got a name for this place? I reckon the first thing a person should do when showing up someplace they don't know about is to find out a name so they least know where they're at even if they still don't really know.

	I'm from England. Tadfield, if I'm being exact. I went to London once. I didn't like it all that much. Too much noise and cars and people not paying attention to where they're going. You ain't missing much by not remembering. And I can think of a whole lot worse places to be stuck than here. I think I'll just think of this as some wicked adventure. ~~It'll make things a bunch easier for everybody else.~~

I ain't had lots of people taking care of me. Don't really see why I'd need much more than what I've already got. I'm eleven, not some little baby that needs all sorts of stuff. No, I reckon Aziraphale will work just fine for having someone else to help with the stuff I can't do and the rest I'll sort out on my own.

Now that's a bit of an odd question to be asking somebody. Course, you know he's an angel so I guess I could ask you the same.

Oh, it's definitely an adventure. And always unpredictable. Anything can happen. But at least it's never boring.

Well.. I sorta needed that many. People were always going after me and I needed protectors while I was defenseless. ~~Not so defenseless anymore, though~~

Oh, right. I guess.. yeah, it does sound weird that I know them too. Most people just believe. But I know for a fact that they exist. As well as the devil, demons, and even God. Though they may have different forms than most are used to seeing.

That's good. I reckon boredom's about one of the worst things there is, really. Folks just sitting around with nothing to do, wanting to go but not being allowed. I'll take excitement over that any day, thanks all the same.

That don't make much sense. Why would people want to go after someone that's defenseless? That just sounds mean, if you ask me.

~~Don't forget the Horsepersons.~~ Well of course all of that exists too. You can't have a bunch of angels and not have all the rest. It's all about balance and making sure that neither side gets too much going for them. But I reckon the real question is how you know for such a fact when, like you said, most just believe and leave it at that.

Yeah, that's very mean, definitely agree with you there. Apparently they had some crazy idea that I might grow up to do.. something. Fanatics are annoying.

I just know. Because, err.. I'm special? Or.. unique, I guess the word is. Had experience in it. I'm not like other people. There's a word for it, but I'd rather not say at the moment. People tend to overreact when they hear about it. ~~It'd be just my rotten luck if I scared a kid when he just got here~~

No. I'm not. Truth is, I like people. ~~The better to lead them into tempta~~ Besides, this isn't exactly, Earth is it? I doubt the prophecies apply here. And God is here. Along with you know.. the opposite. And far as I know, they haven't tried to fight.

Good. I like people too, and there's a whole bunch of the world I ain't seen yet. Like I told old Beelzebub. I don't see much point in running the world when all it'd be is more work, and I don't want it going nowhere until I got a chance to see more stuff and do some things.

And I don't know nothing about if those prophecies will work somewhere not on Earth but I figure it don't hurt to ask and make sure you ain't planning nothing... and yeah, I know Lucifer is here. Feels a little funnier than back home, but I ain't worried all that much about it. He couldn't do nothing about me when I wouldn't lead the Horsepersons. Don't reckon he can do much now either.

So what kind of powers do you have? Can you make things happen? Maybe you have a superior immune system? I'm just curious. It's good that we're different. My past is probably a lot more troubling, and you were probably safer with your family. I wonder, if I may ask.. how old were you when you found out who you really were?

It is a lot of work. Though for me, it's easier when I have followers. They tend to be helpful. Don't have any here though. I guess I can think of this city as a sort of.. vacation. Where very odd things happen.

Yeah, I doubt He would. Probably wouldn't want to. He and God seem to be getting along. So since you're from Lucifer, and I am too.. um. Does that mean we're sort of.. brothers? I suspect our true mothers are different, though.

I can make stuff happen just by thinking about it. Anything I want. I can make it so it's really real and always was even if I know that it wasn't never. Followers? I wouldn't know nothing about followers. I have the Them but they're my friends. They helped stop the Horsepersons, even.

That's right odd, if you ask me. Lucifer and God getting along. Don't seem right, somehow. But it's a good thing, too, I guess, and I think you're right. We're kinda like brothers, ain't we?

Wow.. that's a bit more than my level of power. ~~Very impressive, holy sh~~ That's really amazing. I can make sort of accidents. ~~Car crashes, flying glass, falling poles~~ Guns can probably jam up if they point it at me too. Cars can blow tires. Boiler rooms explode. Oh, another cool thing, I can walk through smoke, be around poison gases, and it won't affect me in the least. You were eleven?? Damn. I mean, crap. I was 13 when I found out.

They worship me, follow instructions, take care of chores, that sort of thing. Horse..persons? I'm guessing one of them is a lady. I'd probably stop them too.. I like the world.

Yeah, sorta like brothers. I always thought I was the only one. Nice to know I'm... not the only one. Also, I should tell you. If Lucifer talks to you, keep an open mind? The shape they have taken.. it.. uhh, probably not what you'd expect.

Really? I wonder why we're different like that? It don't make much sense to me, having two Antichrists that aren't the same. Course I reckon most of that Antichrist business don't make much sense to me. You can't just decide somebody's gonna do something and spect them to do it, no questions asked. People are gonna be people. And I think it'd be right wicked to be able to be around that dangerous sort of stuff and not have to worry none. I ain't really tried nothing like that. Don't think there's too many poison gasses around Lower Tadfield, least none that I've ever heard about.

Why would you want somebody to worship you for? Seems to me that'd be more trouble than it's worth... and you ain't met the Horsepersons yet? They showed up and told me I was gonna lead them across the world and then make it my own. Oh, and War was the girl. Pepper took care of her, though.

I thought I was the only one too. Still don't see why there needs to be two of us. Less they just wanted to make sure they'd get least one that'd do what he's s'posed to do.

Doesn't make sense to me either. And.. I never asked questions. I just read the verses and gave in to it. Wasn't sure there was any alternative. ~~Besides, rebelling against Satan? That's like suicide~~ You could probably experiment. Nothing too drastic, just play with it a bit, test the limits. But from what you said.. I'm not sure there are limits.

I guess.. it's fun. It made me happy. Really happy. You know how when a teacher says, "Good job!" or when a fellow worker commends you for service? It's sorta like that. ~~Especially when they kneel and praise your name~~ But that doesn't mean much now, it's just myself. Though I do at least have a few friends on occasion.

That sorta makes sense. But when you put it that way, sounds like they think we're their slaves, like we're slaves to destiny. And I'm not sure I like that notion ~~even though it might be true~~. I'd like to think that we have our own choices. That whatever we do, it's because we want to, not because it's been written in pages. That we can make our own fate. Because really, that's what I think of this place. It can be good for.. beginnings.

I didn't know there was nothing to give in to. My folks didn't give me verses. I just could do these things and then it went from there. Now I know better then to let my imagination run away with me too much. It's why I haven't tried no experiments yet. I'm not so sure dabbling around in it all is a good idea.

I have the Them, and Dog, and my folks, and a couple of others I see time to time, and I reckon that's enough for me. I don't think I want somebody always telling me what a good job I'm doing. Think that might be a little ~~exhus~~ ~~exhau~~ tiring, trying to do stuff that seems so great.

Like I told old Beelzebub and the Metatron. Seems to me you can't really write stuff about people, because stuff can always be struck out or erased or changed.
