Yeah.

I'm actually what you call an empathic mimic. Basically, if I come in contact with someone with an ability, I gain that ability.

I thought it was fairly obvious. I told my family about you! I never tell them about anyone, unless they matter! You think I'm used to it? That this is something I do all the time? It isn't! And it's confusing and it scares me a little, but I care about you.

How should I know. I was pretty sure for a while there that you hated me! You sure did a good job of making it seem that way. And sometimes it's hard not to think that you're only nice because you're convinced my powers are about to freak out again.

I never have before this. My relationships tend to prove fatal before I get a chance. My mother wasn't lying about that. People who care about me tend to die. Maybe it would be better for you if you didn't.
