Spike!

Wait. You're not evil are you? Because that would be bad.

Red.

Decidedly still drinking store brand for the moment. Want to give me the run-down here? Better than the little girl who thinks she's got wit up there?

Well, that's good because the last I heard you were all crispy and so I wasn't sure if you were from after that, somehow, or if you were from before and I really didn't want to have to take you on because, well, you did save the world and all of us so I figured I at least owed it to you to ask and, um, that girl is Rose Weasley. Just... so you're aware. Assuming you even know about the books.

Okay. Let's see. You're in a city called Colligo. It's not on Earth, or if it is Earth it's an Earth with two moons. Some people here are fictional in our reality and we're fictional in other realities so if someone starts squeeing over you try not to bite them, k?

Also! We can't leave. You can try, but it won't work. You'll end back up in the library, or possibly in some jail cell I guess, and just trust me. Nobody can leave. Not even me and boy howdy have I tried.

And I should probably mention that some people here are sorta their alternate versions right now and some are older or younger and I think Buffy was from some alternate reality for a while but I'm hoping she's back now and I'm definitely back now because yay, no longer a vampire, and okay I'm done now.

Questions?

You don't have to apologize! It's, it's just that I haven't seen that many words put together less it was in a textbo fine. It's impressive that you can babble over the internet. Not that I should probably talk much. I write out my 'err' and 'um's Embarrassing, that. Should probably stop it

I just sorta get going and then sorta don't stop and, well, I probably could stop if I tried but... I'm doing it again. Sorry.

And sorry, about Spike. He's kinda 'grr' but he's a good guy. Mostly.

It's okay. Really. And is he a prat to people nice to him, as well? Not that I don't have my mome It's .. part of Willow. You shouldn't change that.

Right. I'll take your word on that one.

Um, I sort of have a favor to ask you. Feel free to say no if you can't or if you don't want to or ... just whatever. I was wondering if you'd be able to, if you knew a way to charm brooms so that muggles could fly. To play Quidditch. Obviously Harry

Thanks.

I... sure! Wow! I get to help them play Quidditch! That is so cool! It shouldn't be too hard. Just a simple matter of charming the brooms to recognize the Muggles as being magical even though they aren't and then making sure that the Muggles still have control over the brooms.

It'll be as easy as really difficult pie!

Rose Weasley. Should that name be important to me?

...do you ever stop rambling? No, don't answer that.

Right, so, we're trapped on another planet, there are fictional characters here and people who think we might be as well, you were a vampire, and Buffy was from an alternate reality.

Anything else or can I leave now?

It should be but it's clearly not and since you're being Mr. Cranky Pants I think I'll just let you figure it out for yourself.

I dunno. Do you ever stop being a big meaniehead to everybody?

Hey, you want to leave, feel free to try. Just don't come whining to me when you end up stuck in some cage and can't escape the sunlight and go poof. Jerk.

Cheerful? No. Not cheerful. Not making me want to cause you to burst into flames might be kinda fun, though.

I'm probably going to regret this, but I'm offering myself up as a prime example of someone who's supposed to be fictional, being that I could probably, unfortunately, win the award here for most recognized "fictional" person here.

Name's Jim Kirk.

Sorry, mate, I might have you beat. And Merlin definitely does. Though, to be honest, I'm not sure if he counts as fictional. In my world, he was real, but apparently my worlds ... fictional.

And if it's any comfort. I've never heard of you.

Let me elaborate bit: Captain James T. Kirk of the USS Enterprise. That would be me. Whole franchise full of television shows, books, comics, movies, games... Kind of makes me want to punch this Roddenberry guy in the face, especially since the actor that portrays me talks like he took that sniffing glue phase a little too far.

Still never heard of you. But I reckon the Enterprise sounds familiar though ... You're one the Starfleet people right? You fly ... ships? Bloody bizarre that, I guess though I think Dudley tried to watch your show once, but Uncle Vernon said it was absolute rubbish and hogwash. Think he still kept on watching it but I've never heard about it since that day.

Err .. I'm Harry Potter, nice to meet you. I have a title too but I reckon it isn't as awesome as Captain. I'm guessing I probably have all that, too. Maybe not the T.V. show, but the other stuff, but I try to avoid them. That and the people who think it's funny to dress up like me. And play Quidditch with a person dressed in yellow Oh yeah, that Dan Radcliffe kid ... he looks nothing like me. Rupert looks like my best mate Ron though. Eerie, that.

Actually I, uh, hate to burst your bubble but Captain Kirk would probably win this one. His name's been around a lot longer. Your series is pretty popular, don't get me wrong, but even if you aren't a science fiction fan you pretty much know the name 'James T. Kirk'.

Yay! For being back, obviously, not for the annoying. Never a yay for the annoying unless you were trying to be annoying and in this case you weren't so definitely no yay.
