Rose Weasley. Should that name be important to me?

...do you ever stop rambling? No, don't answer that.

Right, so, we're trapped on another planet, there are fictional characters here and people who think we might be as well, you were a vampire, and Buffy was from an alternate reality.

Anything else or can I leave now?

It should be but it's clearly not and since you're being Mr. Cranky Pants I think I'll just let you figure it out for yourself.

I dunno. Do you ever stop being a big meaniehead to everybody?

Hey, you want to leave, feel free to try. Just don't come whining to me when you end up stuck in some cage and can't escape the sunlight and go poof. Jerk.

You expect me to be cheerful right now?

Cheerful? No. Not cheerful. Not making me want to cause you to burst into flames might be kinda fun, though.

I'm probably going to regret this, but I'm offering myself up as a prime example of someone who's supposed to be fictional, being that I could probably, unfortunately, win the award here for most recognized "fictional" person here.

Name's Jim Kirk.

Sorry, mate, I might have you beat. And Merlin definitely does. Though, to be honest, I'm not sure if he counts as fictional. In my world, he was real, but apparently my worlds ... fictional.

And if it's any comfort. I've never heard of you.

Let me elaborate bit: Captain James T. Kirk of the USS Enterprise. That would be me. Whole franchise full of television shows, books, comics, movies, games... Kind of makes me want to punch this Roddenberry guy in the face, especially since the actor that portrays me talks like he took that sniffing glue phase a little too far.

Still never heard of you. But I reckon the Enterprise sounds familiar though ... You're one the Starfleet people right? You fly ... ships? Bloody bizarre that, I guess though I think Dudley tried to watch your show once, but Uncle Vernon said it was absolute rubbish and hogwash. Think he still kept on watching it but I've never heard about it since that day.

Err .. I'm Harry Potter, nice to meet you. I have a title too but I reckon it isn't as awesome as Captain. I'm guessing I probably have all that, too. Maybe not the T.V. show, but the other stuff, but I try to avoid them. That and the people who think it's funny to dress up like me. And play Quidditch with a person dressed in yellow Oh yeah, that Dan Radcliffe kid ... he looks nothing like me. Rupert looks like my best mate Ron though. Eerie, that.

That's right. She's a starship, a Constitution Class heavy cruiser. Largest and most advanced in the fleet, still fresh out of dry dock. i miss her That show is "rubbish and hogwash." I can tell you that the show is nothing like the real thing. The Enterprise on that show looks like it's about to fall apart at the seams. That's not my ship, they weren't even close to replicating my ship. I was only able to suffer through a few episodes before I had to turn it off to spare myself the brain damage.

...never heard of Harry Potter, sorry. What year is it supposed to be for you, if you don't mind me asking?

So .. it's all in space? That's bloody brilliant. Reckon I wouldn't mind giving it a try. Though to be honest, I haven't a clue on what half of that means, it does sound interesting. At you're lucky with that one. From what I've been told the books by that cash cow by that JK Rowling are exactly like what's really happened in my life. Though, it's probably difficult to build a ship for a t.v. show. Like it's oh so difficult to build a mechanical snitch. A person. They chase a person!

That's ... great! Never thought I'd be this happy to have someone not have heard of me. And not know more about my parents than I do or about. Or who I supposedly like or whatever nonsense. Would have thought by coming here, I'd be able to escape all that. Though other than the knowing what I was thinking March of last year in excrutiating details, here's actually ... easier than back home. Still, it's nice to meet someone who won't go, you're the Boy Who Lived. I'm still living!

Not at all. 1994. Pulled me right from the end of term. Not that I mind, a summer free of the Dursley

I was born in space, on a shuttle, but I grew up on Earth. Raised in Riverside, Iowa. I just work in space now. ...that's unfortunate. I'm thankful Roddenberry's got all the details wrong. Still doesn't make coping with the fans any easier, so I feel you there on being recognized. it still creeps me out a bit

I'm from 2258, quite a bit after your time. I can't say for sure if your, uh, book series exists or not in my reality, because a lot of the things that were popular back then aren't anymore. They get lost to time, forgotten about, left to sit in some dusty old archive room with other 20th Century memorabilia, but I can say that as into history as I am, not once has the name Harry Potter or anything about the Boy Who Lived mentioned.

Born in space? Wow ... That must have be a pretty awesome story. It really doesn't. Not something I think I'll ever get used to but I think I'm handling it alright. Everything from the bizarreness of being known before I introduce myself to having to convince people I really am who I say. Though, it's nice to know that I look more like myself than the poor sod who plays me in those movies.

Master of understatement aren't you? It's amazing to imagine the Earth still around for that long. I should work on saying something more intelligent, Hermione'd be right pissed with me, for not even trying. But I've got nothing beyond, bloody wonderful. Good. I guess some people would find it wonderful being remembered forever and by complete strangers. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's just not for me. As long as the people I care about at least think about me once and a while, I'm fine with my memory dying with them. After I die.

Aw, that's adorable, a closed minded bleach-blonde who can't see that there's something going on here that goes beyond their ability to comprehend.

Actually I, uh, hate to burst your bubble but Captain Kirk would probably win this one. His name's been around a lot longer. Your series is pretty popular, don't get me wrong, but even if you aren't a science fiction fan you pretty much know the name 'James T. Kirk'.

No bubble bursted, Willow. Believe me it's a good thing that I'm not as famous as everyone makes me out to be. Poor bloke, though
