I did get a job at a pub. Maybe that will keep me away from the insanity. It seems to spread.

This seems to be a bit of a free-for-all, from what I can tell. I haven't been here very long myself, but to hear Damon and Caroline talk, everything that's happening to everyone right now has happened to everyone at some point in the past.

For example, right now I can't lie. Even if I try, it doesn't work. I have to tell the truth, no matter what. It's pretty awful.

	That's probably why it missed me. I just got here. That's what I am going with anyway. No lying. I don't do it a lot, but people lie in some degree all the time. That's probably the most logical reason. If you're new, you often aren't affected as quickly. I think it's because Asaph is still interested in you, as you are. He gets bored fast, though.

I know I don't like having to tell the truth all of the time. It's made finding my own meals all but impossible.

And yes, I do. I'm Abby. We spoke, a few times, the last time you were here.

	I'll volunteer to be new for awhile. Asaph is who? I don't know why he would be so interested. I don't think anyone tells the truth all the time. It's not even possible. I don't think it works like that, but good luck. As for Asaph, he's the guy calling the shots around here. The one that's collecting us. People say he's God's little brother. I've never met him but some people have, I guess.

And I mean exactly what I said. It's hard to get close enough to someone to feed when they ask what I'm doing and I have to tell them that I'm planning on killing them. Sure, I can chase them down, but that just puts other people in danger too. I don't want that.

	The first person I met when I arrived was Caronline, the second was Edward - another type of vampire - and the third was your brother. One fully grown adult is usually enough, unless I skip feedings or am very angry and not thinking clearly. I try not to let that happen.

And yes. He had a list of people that wouldn't be missed that he gave to me when I showed up. He and Caroline have been helping me get to them since I've been unable to lie. Elijah, too. But I don't mind extra help, if you really want.

Only if you're sure, though.

	Considering some of the things that you do when you're out of control, Stefan, that seems pretty tame. Though, there's a ton more betrayal built into it than the rest.
