I um.. I'm not quite sure if.. if anyone's listening to this. [there's the sound behind her of a lot of moaning and pounding on the door]

I'm stuck. Again. [Babs gives a little sigh.] But this is bad. really bad. I'm locked in here, but the door isn't going to hold them forever. They're so close to getting in.

[She sounds more worried the more she talks.] I tried to barricade the door. They've been trying to get in for so long and I've done all I could. [by the end, her voice is trembling a bit]

They're going to get in. I'm so sorry. I'm going to try and get out but I know there isn't .. there isn't a way.

[There is a loud crash, and the sounds get louder. Lots of shuffling around. By the time Babs speaks again, she's crying.]

I'll try to take as many as I can with me but .. I have.. fuck I have to go. I'm sorry. I'm so-

[the growls get extremely loud, there's a some cursing, and some grunting. Babs tries to fight them off but there's a lot of them. Eventually there's a scream and then the phone goes crunch.]

[ooc: If someone wants to find her body, be my guest!]

Barbara?! BARBARA?!

[Helena's voice is shaky, as she gets her crossbow and runs out the door.]

You're not going anywhere. Anywhere, you hear me?! I'm coming, I'll come and get you, okay?!

[Helena's footsteps can be heard, as she runs as fast she can from her place to Barbara's.]

Get away from her you undead bastards!

[Cries of the zombies can be heard, as Helena fires her crossbow...and then gunshots are heard, as Helena pulls out a gun that she very rarely caries with her and starts shooting the zombies.]

Damnit...there's too many of them...

[Helena grunts, as she continues fighting the horde as she tries to make her way to her friend's body. She's determined to believe that she's not dead, that there's still a chance that she can save Barbara...]

Get off of me! Get off!

[There's more sounds of struggle, as Helena fires more gunshots. Eventually, the cries of the zombies die out, as Helena pushes her way past the corpses to get to her friend.]

Babs? C'mon. They're gone. Let's go.

[She doesn't want to believe it. She fights back tears, shaking the lifeless body of her friend gently.]

C'mon, Babs. It's safe to go now. You can get up.

[Grief washes over Helena, as she shakes, dropping her PDA, tears flowing freely.]

I'm sorry. I'm so, so, sorry, Babs. I should've gotten here sooner... I'm sorry.
