Excuse me, but what's going on? If this is some strange kidnapping scheme, you've taken the wrong person. My father won't pay a ransom. And I can't imagine another reason to take people, unless you're very bad demons.

I really need to get home. My name is Wesley Wyndam-Pryce and my father is Roger Wyndam-Pryce. And he'll be very cross if I'm not home in time for my lessons. ~~I don't like it when he's cross.~~

My father doesn't treat me badly. He just wants to make sure that I'm adequately prepared to be a good Watcher. But sometimes I'm slow and I mistranslate passages and it's unacceptable, because if I do that when I'm a Watcher, I could get someone killed with my foolishness. Father's right about that.

You're the Slayer? My Slayer? I really have a Slayer when I'm grown up? Really? Am I a good Watcher? Did a demon send you back in time? You're really my Slayer, right?

No, Wes. You're not fucking foolish. You're a good person and a good.. kid. And your dad is a total fucking douchebag. He has no idea what the hell he's talking about anyway. Watcher's are generally full of shit, no offense.

Well it's uh.. a little complicated. No I'm not back in time, you're kinda in the future I guess. And we're both stuck in this fucking place. But I was your Slayer yeah. There's just.. a whole lot of Slayer's now. Not just me.
