Excuse me, but what's going on? If this is some strange kidnapping scheme, you've taken the wrong person. My father won't pay a ransom. And I can't imagine another reason to take people, unless you're very bad demons.

I really need to get home. My name is Wesley Wyndam-Pryce and my father is Roger Wyndam-Pryce. And he'll be very cross if I'm not home in time for my lessons. I don't like it when he's cross.

It's Wesley. Father says that nicknames are ridiculous. Mother uses them and he says she's coddling me unnecessarily. I'm ten years old, so I should be grown up enough not to need such frivolities.

This place is odd. Do you know how to get home? Mother will worry and father will be cross and I don't like it when he's cross.
