Hi guys!! I'm Julie and I'm super excited to be here, since there are a lot of familiar faces who I've been dying to write with again. ♥ My first character is Olivier Castillo, a 45yo Circle mage and Mortalitasi necromancer; his solemnity when working with the dead is in complete contrast to his boisterous, bon vivant personality otherwise. Which means a gambling problem (want to play a match of Wicked Grace? 8)), constant flirtation, and an illegitimate child with Ashi (Sabrina Esposito, who he has no idea is his... yet). He's also cousin to Duchess Isolde, though his political influence is limited to his Mortalitasi connections.

Olivier has been around Cumberland for yonks, apart from a few years spent training at Nevarra City, and is generally cheeky & friendly. In his middle-age, he's more and more becoming a paternal figure who's fond of teaching and mentoring. Local DILF, I guess. So, come at me: Friends, flings (probably ladies only tho he's not fussed about race), magic study buddies, fellow Chantry folk, other things I haven't thought of here? So, THINGS.

Noëlle: will absolutely play cards with you. Will probably beat you spectacularly and be the reason for some of those debts, I AM SO SORRY. Will also flirt. A lot. Even though you're old enough to be her father. Sir, you have connections, and those are the most attractive thing in the world.

Caspian: knows you. HE IS SO SORRY. No doubt Olivier heard about The Zombie Incident which led to cas' disgrace sooooooooooo there may be some lingering discomfort. Also, he's friendly with Ashi, so yet another reason for potential lingering discomfort. But hey, necromancer solidarity or... something.............................. (says the guy using what Mortalitasi secrets he's learned to raise corpses in battle to bolster his party's numbers, um).

I already enjoy him and Noelle bantering omg, and YES I need someone to help drive him into that debt that causes some of his Bad Decisions bahahhaa. He will definitely flirt back, even if he has no intention of it actually leading anywhere...

& yes!! Maybe Cas tried hitting up Olivier for mentoring after Pilar cast him out, and Olivier was also like "no :|" (bc Mortalitasi solidarity~) and that's made things strained and awkward between them? Olivier's opinion would have been greatly improved since he entered the Wardens, and does consider it a redemption probably. But still complicated :')

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG as said, SO EXCITED. Mwahahahahahaaaaaaaa. We've talked about him and Sabrina, so him and Pilar...

Their age difference isn't enough that Pilar would likely have been his mentor. However, she did spend long years at Cumberland, so I feel like they could have a long history there with that. And they could be friends, even with his ~problems. She definitely would've talked with him about that whole Ashi thing during/after/etc as a friend. But yesh, plotses and ideas more a welcome.

PILAAAAR. ♥ I'm obsessed with her; they should definitely be long-standing bros and academic buddies and friends (possibly he even considers her his best friend around the Circle?). With him being a Mortalitasi and secretly helping out Nyree, I have a vague image of him just being generally tight with the Pentaghasts? He would've listened to her and shut down Cas completely after the Incident. :}

Iveani (this journal) will probably interact with Olivier the most. She's a Dalish elf who was ~~captured~~ retrieved and brought to the Circle by the templars about a month back. She's an artsy oddball who is occasionally plagued by bizarre visions of what might possibly be the future. That last part's on the QT, but if they become friends, he might find out about the dream journal she keeps. Ooh, and if you want her to have weird visions involving your character, just e-mail/comment in her dropbox! >:D Muahaha...

As for Elspeth (~potentiaest), her younger twin sisters are kind of card sharps, so maybe they've played with Olivier? She's also from a highborn family, so if he and Isolde hang out a lot, she may have met him at one of the Van Markham parties?

CAAAAAT I've missed you ♥ And I love the look of both your characters so much! I have some plot that Iveani could have visions about later, so I'll hit you up once that's relevant >:) In the meantime, Olivier is concerned about Iveani and defs invested in her well-being.

And yes to this re: Elspeth! They should run into each other at events, plus know each other through the Chantry. :D

Iveani is perpetually surprised by the niceness/concern from the Circle. CIRCLES ARE SUPPOSED TO SUCK, WHAT'S GOING ON HERE.

Double yes-ing with event/Chantry run-ins. Depending on how long Olivier's lived in Cumberland, he might have even caught her attempting to skip out on an event to go to church/hide in libraries (Elspeth's idea of rebellion was kind of weird as a teenager. :|)

I have this dwarf lady.

I have no idea for lines but we should do things anyway. :3 She knows Cas since they're both Wardens, but otherwise she's only been in Cumberland for a couple of years and used to run with criminal gangs such as the Carta for the majority of her life prior to getting conscripted. She can also be seen eating in the marketplace or drinking in any given pub when she's not Wardening.

	Midha gambles! COME GAMBLE WITH OLIVIER. Hellooo. I am Chrissie and I have three kiddos here!

First off, I'll start with the person that Olivier will interact with the most: OSBORN LOUCHART (

stoodfirm). He's the Knight Commander of the Circle. He's a good guy and treats mages fairly and doesn't approve of any sort of abuse or anything. Devout Andrastian, Orlesian, and you know, good guy Osborn is around! I think they'll get along!

Next is my mage ATHEYA (this journal). She's an apostate right now but I'd like for her to interact with some of the Circle mages. She's former Dalish and booted out of her clan (aww, maaaaan). Very isolated and stuff, so hard to get connections but maybe some sort of fatherly-figure could be found in him through interactions? XD

And then finally is my warden, ADAN SARAZIN (

bridledrage). He's a warrior from Rivain who used to be a mercenary. Became a warden after become conscripted. Has a wife and kids back in Rivain but hasn't seen them. Nothing immediate right now, but maybe they can be buds down the road!

And yessss Osborn omg, I love him already. They should be buddies, y/n/vy? As much as they can be with the power imbalance, at least. Middleaged men gotta stick together~

+1 to Atheya! They can run into each other in various places and he can be totally oblivious about her status? I'm all about the father-figure dynamics tbh, BRING IT ON.

We'll find a way for me to plot with Adan, JUST YOU WAIT.

They need to be frahnds. Buddies! And being an older mage, Osborn will likely refer to him more about looking at the younger ones. Little bbs.

Oh yeah, he can totes be oblivious to her status. She is pretty good about being ignored, tbh. And Cumberland is pretty damn good at having enough mages around that she doesn't raise any eyebrows immediately. Heheh.

Hiii, I'm Chelsea! (I think we've been at two games together but never actually wrote together? D:)

But ahhhhh! Fellow Mortalitasi, yessssss. I have Loren here who is, you guessed it, Mortalitasi. Umm, so I can picture them getting along maybe? Loren is... definitely on the jovial side most days (with serious trust issues re: EVERYONE really but especially the upper class). During his days as an apprentice, he definitely got a reputation for, aside from being a little mischievous, being fairly gifted and basically a complete nerd about magic and studying. (Oh yeah, also the person who raised a zombie with Cas back in the day, but that's a secret. :x)

(And thanks for the reminder... I've been... really bad about this... I COMPLETELY FORGOT)

Luren Malra at

violentbydesign dwarf blacksmith and Merchant's Guild member. He's super friendly, flirty, extroverted, and fun to be around. Arrogant too, although it's mostly just talk, at his heart he's a mensch. He definitely would play cards with him and generally be a chatter.

Vathra you know about and she probably wouldn't react to him much, although she DOES go drinking and playing cards sometimes ;)
