Hello! I'm Amy and I am here to introduce to you Knight Corporal Sylvaine Severin, colloquially known by some Templars and mages of the Cumberland Circle as Sylvaine the Silent of Ser Silence.

Sylvaine Details:

Two-handed warrior, Templar and Champion specialization

36 and 6'4"

Orlesian-born, but grew up in Nevarra

Chantry-raised orphan

devout Andrastian

skilled warrior and trains Templar initiates/recruites in two-handed weapons

Socially Awkward

stutters rather profoundly and generally prefers to communicate by writing people notes when possible (some mages are pretty sure they've never personally heard her speak, hence her nicknames)

She may or may not be the daughter of a Chevalier. I am going to put her dad as a wanted character with whether or not he was/is actually a Chevalier up for grabs.

This is Ashi, she's a spirit healer from the Circle in Cumberland. She's a teacher of young mages and believes very much in the Circle and mages being there, so she's pretty positive toward Templars. She's also Orlesian born and then sent to the Cumblerand Circle. She is 35 so I feel like there could totally be some possible interaction? They're around the same age and have some background in common and she'd be on friendly terms with the Templars. She's hoping to rise the ranks as a mage one day too. She's nice, diplomatic, a former noble, and very smart. Plus I just love the idea of Margaery and Brienne pbs getting along idk. They could write notes ;)

I have Vathra over at

herownhero who I don't think will have interaction with her quite yet, since she's an Antivan Crow and only going to get semi-involved after an assassination attempt. She's an Elven archer and has a temper and she's generally not someone people want to mess with. And she wouldn't mess with templars either unless she needs to.

FInally I have Luren over at

violentbydesign. He's a dwarf in the Merchant's Guild in Cumberland. He's from all over the place but moved there two years ago. He makes armor and weapons, and he's actually been selling it to the Templars/movement against the Blight for much lower prices to help them out. He's charming, extroverted, and generally something of a mensch.

I think they should totally be friendly, yes! Partly because of close proximity and partly because, yes, Margaery and Brienne pbs being friends is too good to pass up. And yes to notes :)

Not likely much for Vathra with Sylvaine, but my next-in-the-works might have some interaction available!

Sylvaine probably is at least acquainted with Luren, and has probably managed to briefly compliment his craftsmanship (she doesn't stutter as badly when "talking shop" about weapons/armor/fighting, or when reciting the Chant).

this guy is oz. he's a carta dwarf who likes to get into everyone's pants and drink and generally have a good time. i figure that sylvaine can be someone who often kicks his drunk butt out of taverns and he will happily keep up a one sided conversation with her and hit on her because hay sylvy haaay :D

notmycircus) is a formerly Dalish Antiva Crow here to assassinate the Tevinter ambassador whoops. i'm.... not sure how to toss these two together????

and lastly is isolde (

dirigo), the duchess of cumberland, former princess of starkhaven. she is also devoutly andrastian (as is appropriate her station). um. she's friendly to pretty much everyone soooo they can be church friends??? idk.

Hi Amy! I'm Cat, and I have two characters: Iveani (this journal), and Elspeth (~potentiaest). Let me throw some potential plot ideas your way:

Iveani: Dalish elf mage who has occasional, weird, cryptic visions of the future. She was found by the Cumberland templars about a month ago, and she's been stuck in the city ever since. Having grown up hearing stories about terrible the templars are, Ivey's more than a little spooked by them. Maybe Sylvaine was one of the templars who found her?

Elspeth: Elspeth is a Chantry lay-sister who returned from Val Royeaux two years ago under mysterious (ie: vigilante suspect/general rabble-rousing) circumstances. A lot of her Chantry duties revolve around acting as a Ms. Fix-It for the church, so Sylvaine has probably seen her there before/after services.

Okay, all I have is this fool, Loren, my dumb mage. (Previously a trouble-making street kid from a wretchedly poor family, his magic poofed into existence while he was in the middle of the marketplace whoops, and now he's a successful Mortalitasi who uses his money to support that family.)

SO! She almost definitely knows hims from the Circle! He was mischievous for sure but didn't tend to... outright break rules (usually). Aside from that, he was markedly (probably noticeably) kind to any new apprentices brought to the Circle, so y'know, not a total pain in the ass all the time? His feelings on the templars are not strong in either direction.

omg, hi. I'm Chrissie and I play Osborn (this dude) who is your Knight Commander. Yay for Templars! :D He's also born in Orlais, though he did grow up there. But he's also a devout Andrastian and gets socially awkward at times, but you know, when it comes to work, he's in charge. His father is a chevalier, and I feel like he need to have things. :D

I also have Atheya (

And lawd, Osborn's had to do it before and he's never bee happy with it. :[ he came in temporarily filling the role of Knight Captain until he helped the previous commander transition out and took over from there. Alternately: the Chantry any given Sunday, Noe always goes.

Oh, and depending on how you want her backstory to play out, there may be a place to connect their fathers... Noe's father was involved with all sorts of Important People back in Orlais, and based on the type of Chevalier Sylvaine's father (maybe) is/was, there may be a connect... alsways looking for people to connect to Noe's dad since she's investigating his murder etc.

Pilar Pentaghast {

deathward} is a circle mage who's been around a loooong time, over 4 decades, and a high ranking Mortalitasi. She's Andrastian of the Nevarran variety, with that whole business around the dead and whatnot. But she's very comfortable with whatnot, so she'll easily just write Sylvaine back in notes, rather than calling out to her and whatnot.

Sabrina Esposito {

somniari} is also a mage, Nevarran born, chantry raised for 4-5 years, then shipped off to Tevinter. She's back and looking for faaaamily. So they have some roots together there and all, but uh... yeah she's going to be coming around the circle to figure out who her family is. She's pretty young.

Asmund Astyth {

intentioned} however is a mercenary and dwarf, around her age but only 5'0" tall. He is utterly nonplussed by her height and would still take her on in a duel if there was a tournament. Haha, but he's super friendly and cares much more about honor than stuttering. He hopes to hear you at some point ;)
