Midgame Finale Recap~
So, yesterday was dramatic, to say the least. This post will talk about the fallout of the events, so make sure you've read those unless you don't care about spoilers!

Event summary:

• Isolde was the blood mage! She's been fucking with the game since June... nice job, dowager. Lots of details here, if you're interested.
  
• A demon killed Aurore, Una killed a blood magicked Prince Aurelian (whoops), and Pilar killed Isolde, but of course the damage has been done since...
  
• This happened in a semi-public place, so rumors are flying and things are going to get ugly for awhile.

So, that's a lot of drama, but there will be even more coming up. Here's some next steps and things for you to consider as you play your characters in the wake of this event!

• The fight happened in the market. Yes, it was down an alley, but it's hardly private. People saw the aftermath. Your character will probably hear about it before any official proclamations are made.
  
• Assume the official proclamation comes from royal heralds today or tomorrow. Markus doesn't have the heart to do this himself. In said proclamation, the funeral for both Aurelian and Ferdinand will be announced for the 16th. Aurore's body was preserved by Mortalitasi and sent back to Orlais so her family could cremate her.
  
• To add insult to injury, the royal wedding is obviously off, considering both bride and groom are dead. This means negotiations will have to restart after the funeral.
  
• Hi, Alia, you're now next in line for the throne. Hope you're ready.
  
• Isolde's family will be examined by the Tevene magisters and the Nevarran templars. As they're still children and it seems that they were not complicit in their mother's machinations, Sebastien will stay on as duke, now without a regent, but with authority greatly diminished due to suspicion and overall ill will. You'll see him enter the game soon as an NPC. Alyse, who is currently 10, will be found to have magic and Alexius will quickly arrange for her to be taken to Tevinter to study. Matthias remains more or less irrelevant, for now.

The next week will be quiet, with the majority of the city in mourning, before the plot picks up again on the 16th. If you have questions, comments, or angry gifs to throw at us, feel free to toss them here!
