11/1 Satinalia

The buildup of celebration over the final week of Harvestmere comes to its culmination on this day, with a festive atmosphere in the city. A holiday market springs up in the streets, with various amusements and plenty of food and drink for all. The pious attend evening Chantry services, and most citizens, even those who do not identify as Andrastian, gather for feasting later in the evening. Gifts are exchanged between those who are so inclined. The week following the holiday marks a time of reflection, fasting, and a curbing of excess.

11/3 Missing In Action

When one of the city’s remaining Antivan Crows makes an attempt to take out their target, things once again go awry. The Crow vanishes - and the guild sets the remaining Crows the task of finding their missing colleague, though knowing Crow policies, they are unlikely to simply be welcomed back to the fold.

11/11 Chantry Board: Dragon Hunt

The nearby village of Lienz has not seen the last of its reptilian troubles. The defeat of the rogue dragonlings several months ago has not discouraged a dragon from choosing the hillside just east of the village for its nest. This trouble is worse than a few missing sheep - several villagers have died, and there have been fires in the area. The Chantry makes a call for assistance with the promise of significant reward. Lev Tagaris, Godric Tagaris, Sorin Ghrian, Marin Voclain, and Iveani Ralaferin volunteer to ride out to Lienz and eliminate the threat.

11/14 Negotiations Take a Turn

The negotiators take stock of recent events and developments and decide on a path forward.

11/16 A Royal Engagement

For better or for worse, matters have been decided: the engagement of Prince Aurelian Pentaghast to Duchess Aurore Valmont is announced, with the wedding scheduled for Firstday and troops set to deploy to the front on that date. Unfortunately, this arrangement is not pleasing to everyone, and it seems at least one individual will stop at nothing to ensure the wedding doesn’t occur...

11/25 Rumor Mill

Cumberland is full of all sorts of people, and people like to talk… There’s an unusually creative range of rumors going around about a variety of the city’s citizens, and it seems no one is safe… (sign-ups are here).

Cumberland’s citizens donned their finery as Ambassador Manon de Freyen hosted a ball to celebrate the arrival of Duchess Aurore Valmont. It seemed as though negotiations might at last conclude with an agreement and an engagement.

Unfortunately, even as these discussions continued behind closed doors, one member of the Tevene delegation found herself ill-pleased with recent events. Sabrina Esposito sacrificed her father, Olivier Castillo, in order to fuel a blood magic spell. A mysterious mage interrupted the ritual, ultimately causing the girl to become an abomination. Members of the royal family were forced to battle a pride demon on the palace grounds. In the aftermath, Ambassador Octavius Alexius issued a public apology. Ilshae Alerion used this opportunity to make an unsuccessful attempt on his life. Before she could be executed for the attempted murder, Warden Commander Frieda Ortan conscripted her.

Things quieted down until a well-meaning member of the Mortalitasi set loose a horde of zombies. Thanks to a quick response by the citizens and the Grey Wardens, damage to the city was minimal, although there were a number of deaths. Still, resilient as ever, the citizenry managed to regroup and carry on once the threat was eliminated, preparing to celebrate the feast day of Satinalia. Fortunately, aside from some harmless pranksters, no further trouble marred the festivities.

plot pc requests
There are no plot PCs required this month as the majority of the plot for November will center around the city’s politics and all of the major players are already in game. Additionally, we know lots of people have travel and other obligations this time of year. You will see the next plot PC slots open up in January, after the holidays.

For the plot events that require a limited number of PCs, such the Dragon Hunt chantry board quest, sign-ups are located below. The mods will dropbox or e-mail you relevant information in advance so you can log out your plot

For events such as Satinalia celebrations that are open to large numbers of characters, there will be a plotting post with more information closer to the date of the event

Don't forget that for your AC, one of your two submissions needs to happen in the first 14 days of the month
