Hi all, here's Vicki with another temp PC: Devehari Alerion, the mother of one of the young hunters taken. In good times, she's a serious person who has no time for your bullshit, and in bad times (and for her, this is the absolute worst time), well, DO NOT MESS WITH HER.

→ Her son, Pariel, is THE most important thing in the world to her, especially after her husband was killed and mutilated by shems from a village the clan was near -- his corpse was supposed to serve as a warning.
→ No surprise, she hates humans with a fiery passion. Absolutely no exceptions. Ya'll suck.
→ Literally the only thing keeping her from going into Cumberland to find her son herself is the Keeper. She is more than willing to tear the city apart if she needs to.
→ Her second greatest love is the clan, and when she's not being a mother to her son she is devoting her talents and skills to serve the clan's needs.
→ She actually doesn't hate or disdain city elves. She does feel for them, her one softness for outsiders, but she also thinks that they need to save themselves and will never raise a finger to help them herself. The Dalish aren't your saviors, flat-ears. :|
→ She's an artificer, meaning that as a hunter, she specializes in using traps to catch her prey. Sometimes prey means humans. Today it means Tevinter slavers specifically. But don't you dare doubt her ability to use her bow; Dalish archers are to be feared for a reason.
→ As for Pariel, he's almost the exact opposite in personality from his mother, and if they didn't look nearly identical the rest of the clan might wonder if they're related at all (those who remember his father will realize that he took after him when it came to personality). But she taught him well, and he's a gifted archer and hunter for being as young as he is.

	These two are SERIOUSLY only a few years apart. Sooooooo wanna figure out their dynamics. Souvelani getting knocked up was probably before her hubby died? So idk what Devehari would have thought about that at the time. Souvelani was such a clumsy hunter tho, when they trained together. x.x wrp wrp wrp. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Yes, let's!! I have this funny image in my head of Souvelani clumsying around as a hunter in training and Devehari just facepalming like WHY. XD

I'm putting Pariel's age at ~20, so definitely, Souvelani had had Elloen/Noe and had given her up before Devehari's husband died. Devehari was never keen on humans even before the incident sooooo she was probably just very :| about the whole thing???

There was the getting knocked up thing, then it being a shem's kid thing, then the secretly raising her for a year and a half thing, then the disappearing for weeks at a time for a couple years thing. Like it was a lot of things. Didn't earn her the most frenz. Probably sees Souvelani as having a lot of bullshit? XD >>

	Pretty sure everyone was like "oh thank god" when she picked something and she wasn't gonna be ruining everything else for everyone else. And then even MORE SURPRISED when she was damn fine at it when the previous halla keeper died. Not to mention going and looking for like EACH lost kid.
