What does this mean for your character?

Merchants’ Guild Affiliates will be called upon to rally behind their new leader. As you can see, Sandrin means business. Ensuring no one gets lyrium into the city, period, is second priority only to hunting down Agrevain Berith. Some may also want to attend Narazda’s funeral on Monday.

Carta Affiliates are not having a good time, either. This was meant to help, but unfortunately, the bad lyrium PR nightmare along with the fact that Narazda was well-respected by city leaders ensures they are not going to be well-received. Leadership will be meeting to discuss how to proceed - and of course, the attempts on Agrevain’s life will begin as soon as tomorrow.

Mages & Templars are without lyrium. At all. Once their current supply runs out, anyway, though wise leaders will probably ration this. For mages, this is probably an inconvenience that necessitates longer recovery times. For Templars, this is probably a nightmare.

Everyone Else who isn’t directly involved can try to ignore it. However, considering Guild and Carta affiliates are likely to wind up fighting in the street, there are likely to be warehouse fires and other disruptions of each other’s supply chains, and there will be shortages of all sorts of goods in the marketplace, too, well… ignoring it is going to get progressively harder.

Don’t forget, this event runs through the 27th! Even if you’re not involved in any of the plot battles, feel free to have your character mention witnessing violence and unrest, there’s plenty of it to be had.
