NPC for your plots
Vicki reminded me (Silyara) to introduce my latest ~~(and greatest, shut up, Sandrin)~~ temp pc. Who may one day aspire to be a full pc >>

Sandrin Tethras, of the Merchants' Guild. 34, ~~single and mingling~~ an absolute delight whose goofy nature does not diminish his business acumen.

A cousin (x times removed, on Narazda's husband's side) of the greatest person in all of Cumberland, one Narazda Tethras, Sandrin was raised much as she was... from a good family, not the first son, yadda yadda yadda. In fact, it took some time to convince his parents he was, in fact, male. But as with so many things, he convinced them, won them over, and learned the trades. Sandrin isn't always happy, some stereotype of the overly joyful dwarf, but he is excited much of the time and curious all of the time. It may not be good news, but damn it he'll learn it all. All that energy gets funneled into doing things and doing them right. He's an artificer who makes all his own traps and makes other goods as well. Seeing as how he's on the management side of things now, his work is either for himself or custom ordered (really, almost anything you need designed you can't just readily get anywhere else, he likes a challenge). It comes with a high level of attention to detail.

He's the warm type, whether he loves you or hates you, he doesn't see a reason to get nasty in conversation, especially in public places. If it must be dealt with, he will. And in a fight, it's not a good sign when he's smiling. Though he knows how to hold onto secrets, he's candid enough it doesn't seem as though he has many. After all, he'll go against the social grain to live his life as himself, as he thinks is right, so what secret could pull him down? He accepts other misfits and free thinkers easily but also makes nice with the traditional types. Some of them may not like his style, but he can only tone himself down so much.

Plotwise, he's up for anyone wanting Merchant Guilds' plot, would love to know other dwarves, and others! Really throw yourselves at him.

Midha would absolutely like him..... IF he didn't work so closely with Narazda. XD Maybe they could have a bit of backstory? Midha used to have a few run-ins with Narazda when she ran with the Carta, so depending on Sandrin's timeline they could have also encountered each other? Otherwise, it could be a funny thing where they meet, hit it off, and then Midha finds out about his connection to Narazda? XDDDDDDDDD OR IDK. But since they're going to be hunting down Agrevain together, they should def have some sort of connection, etc~

Sorin would like him too, though idk how to connect them??? Stuff and things??????

Sandrin is going to be one of the people she's working with, so they DEFINITELY should have a connection. He didn't always, so they could have backstory from before that? But like, his family has always been SUPER GUILDY so idk on that. But like, he wouldn't push her away for being Carta. ~~He'd try to bring her to the light side. But with cupcakes.~~ But yeaaaah, they could totally have met idk... I mean he even makes specialized shit. LIKE IDK if she'd ever have come for that. But yes SOMETHING.

Stuff and things, yes very good stuff and things. He could always make Sorin an arm. Fake body parts is a custom thing of his.

YES SOMETHING I AGREE. She wouldn't be wary of Merchant's Guild dwarves on principle either now or in the past (some Guild-types are secretly and not-so-secretly involved with the Carta in some capacity, after all~), and if they met before he became apprenticed to Narazda she probably wouldn't think twice about being friends? Then enter Narazda and Midha would've been like "-_- REALLY? REALLY???"

oh man, Sorin with a prosthetic. He would be so blown away by the idea of it. And not able to pay for it unless Sandrin is just that charitable? COULD BE INTERESTING THOUGH???

Hmm yes that is totally doable. Probably after he started going by he tho. Bc that was relatively young-ish. General manufacturer type with lots of special one of a kind shit. So friends! Yes! He'll be friends with carts types for any number of reasons... Recruitment learning more bc ppl are ppl.

Sandrin understands not having no the body you want and what it feels like to get it. And damn if that is not what disposable income is for he doesn't know what. :):):)

	I will need to figure that out with Maaya. But some... years??? ago? Sorin is gonna have to choose what he wants his hand to be doing bc it won't be, you know, one that can actually move about like a hand. But... yeah. 	cool cool, just let me know, that will determine how used to the fact Midha will already be tbh XDDDDDD he'll probably opt for something that would make it easier for him to use his shield since that's basically the closest thing to a prosthetic he currently has??? otherwise, he (and by he I mean me) would need to think about it more~ (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I mean, he's her #2, that's gonna take some time, even if he's being groomed. Like, you don't go from nobody to #2 overnight. But yeah, we'll see and let you know!

lmao. prosthetic shield XDDD Well it could always have curved fingers that can fit on the shield OR A PINT. Important things XD But yes think about it. It'd take Sandrin some time to make. :) Also he appreciates you not using the arm ITSELF as a shield bc damn it, it's nice, don't nick that so casually.
