after many trials and trevails...
Hi guys!! FINALLY, I am happy to join you guys after many obstacles, including a fried hardrive and battling with a cone-headed key-smashing puppy! The struggle was real, my friends. I know a handful of you but there's many people in this game who I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet, so I'm very excited to make your acquaintance! My CDJ is oceanic, feel free to friend me! I will hopefully be back shortly with a few more characters to introduce, but I don't want to waste any time getting involved, so I'm throwing in my first post-haste.

MADEIRA PRIMORIS is part of the Tevinter Imperium delegation, assistant to Magister Alexius and a Laetan necromancer with an impressive grasp of magic in her own right. She's a serious, ascetic woman who prides herself on her effectiveness and general lack of humanity, keeping herself at arm's length from real people emotions and all that messy nonsense. However, she's been charged by her mentor to come to Nevarra for reasons other than simply being involved in the political negotiations, so she's fully intending on getting her hands dirty to accomplish her goals, by whatever means necessary. Expect dry sarcasm and some snobbishness: she is Tevinter, after all. Her full profile is HERE for all the details!

Since Mady has (supposedly) been around since the delegation arrived, please feel free to throw any backdated log ideas or plans at me. Anyone who has had any dealings with the Tevinters has probably met Madeira or been approached by her, and any fellow mages (especially Mortalitasi) have probably met her, either at the Van Markham ball or on the fly! Give me anything you've got! I'm reachable here, by email, or in my dropbox. :)

All right, so we vaguely spoke... Cas here is not mortalitasi but he was on his way there, and has some knowledge that he has no strong desire to keep ~super secret~ soooooo come at him, Madeira. He really doesn't want to politic so of course the Warden Commander (and by extension, I) is making him politic.

Noëlle (

poignards) mayyyyyyyyy be known mostly for disgracing a minor member of the delegation some months ago. He ended up going home whoops. She plays it very Orlesian but is occasionally giving info to Alexius, whoopsie. He made her an offer she couldn't refuse~ Among other things she's also on very good terms with the Duke and Duchess, so she's a well-connected sort. Possibilities there???

Annnnnnnnnnnnd finally, my third, apped since last we spoke, Narazda Tethras (

deshyr), the local HBIC of the Merchants' Guild. Not sure what we can do there but she does move in high society and has good relations with Tevinter, as most dwarves do - best dwarven lyrium customers, etc.

I LOVE LOGS. So hit me up. Past, present, future, etc.

We did sort some of these things out, SO: Madeira will prod at Cas to see what he has, Noëlle will be treated with some caution because undermining any member of the delegation doesn't help their goals in the long run even if she didn't particularly care about said minor douchebag, and Narazda will be treated with respect! If the delegation needs to deal with the Merchants' Guild at some point soon, Mady will probably want to take care of that personally.

I WILL THINK! Perhaps something at the ball?

There's some plotty plot with the Merchants' Guild coming up, so surely we can manage something!

For present day times with Noe, if you wanted, she's a semi-frequent guest at the ducal palace, so they could also run into each other in the gardens/whatever. Cas........... maybe she can prod at him at the upcoming tourney? She will notice he uses exactly 0 necromancer skills in his battle.

AND WE CAN OF COURSE BACKDATE TO THE BALL TOO. I'm on vacation with somewhat limited net time through Saturday, but I am down for things as long as you don't mind me being slow.

sabreist). I've got two and I'm not entirely sure how to connect them to Madeira nooooooo and I want to somehow. ;;; Maybe Midha at the ball??? BUT FIRST LET ME EXPLAIN THEM TO YOU FIRST AHAHAHA

Midha Aenoch (

cloudgazer) is a dwarven Grey Warden, native to the Free Marches, ex-Carta + other criminality things, and been in Cumberland since the Grey Wardens arrived en force. They could have met at the ball and we can backdate a log for that if you'd like?? Otherwise, I'm open to other ideas! Not sure what Midha can provide to Madeira though, but of course I'm always open to possibilities!

Next is this guy, Sorin Ghrian, an amputee City Elf raised in Cumberland his whole life but no one knows where he was actually born. He also doesn't really care. XDDD He works for a local clothier that caters to wealthy clientele, is a fashion junky, aaaaaaaand is kind of wary of Tevinter mages because of #rumors. But if she would visit Brouillard's, he would be pleasant if guarded. Would love to see their interaction tbh, though Brouillard's is the only connect I can think of unless you have other ideas? He didn't go to the ball, but he will be at the Grey Warden tourney, and he can be seen out and about the marketplace or in elf-friendly taverns when he's not working.

Midha and Madeira might not have much in common BUT I may be able to give you plot with other characters, so no worries. As for Sorin, well, Madeira is less of a clotheshorse than most Tevinter mages but only by a small margin, so she definitely will go to Brouillard's and probably order him around like a slave because #TevinterProblems ;-;

Hi Zoe! Cat here, we've been in games together! :D Here are my two characters:

Iveani (this journal) is a Dalish mage who got stuck in the Cumberland Circle tower when templars discovered her unconscious by the side of a road. Quiet, artsy, and more than a little out there, Iveani is plagued with strange, often frustratingly vague visions of the future. She keeps track of the visions in sketchbooks! :D! I can't think of anything too specific for Mady and Ivey right now, but I can't imagine the two of them not crossing paths at some point. You can read more about her here!

Elspeth (

potentiaest) is a Chantry lay-sister who, two years ago, was sent back to Cumberland from Orlais for ~unknown reasons~ by the Vay Royeaux Chantry. Really, it was because she was planning a series of papers criticizing the Chantry for certain actions, as well as for, ah, possible vigilante-ing. IDK how much plot Mady would have with her, but maybe later characters of yours will?

	Hey Cat, nice to run into you again! Mady probably doesn't have direct plot with either of yours, but she'd be fascinated by Ivey's visions and I imagine Elspeth and Mady could have some reaaaally interesting conversations. Hello, Silyara here with three & an npc.

Pilar Pentaghast is a Mortalitasi mage here, senior enchanter and advisor to the king. They've probably met/started to interact. She's business when it comes down to it but doesn't see anything baaad about human emotions. IDK how they'll get along exactly??

Sabrina Esposito [

somniari] is also part of the Tevinter delegation. They have enough of an age gap, they likely haven't heard of each other the most. She was part of bringing her old mentor down a few years ago, so Madeira likely knows that. They both have ~~~personal agendas. Perhaps that will make them cross paths.

Asmund Astyth [

intentioned] is a mercenary to become grey warden at some point. Exiled Orzammar dwarf. Warrior. Huge on honor. Probably the opposite of her on people. He falls in like really easily.

Inge Tiras is my temp NPC. She's a rogue surface dwarf who is part of the Carta. Information/difficult objects are her stock and trade. So she could be handy in this month or so to help move Madeira's plot how you'd like. She values manipulation/logic over friendliness, so they could get along on the same page.

	Hey! Deli here with Valentine Cormier, bard of the Orlesian delegation and pretty much the exact opposite of Madeira. Like exact opposite. Gah, how did I miss this? D: Hello, I'm Chrissie, and happy to have you here. I have four kids here! :)

MADDOX BARTEN (this journal) is first. He's a little cray and likely has minimal chance of meeting Madeira unless he attempted to sell her something before in the past of some kind. Lawd, and he knows how to sell so he might've persuaded her to buy it. XD Ir not, we'll figure soooomething out with him or someone else.

ATHEYA (~intothinair) is my mage. She's an apostate and a shapeshifter but also an elf. I don't see anything immediate other than Atheya being like #nope after meeting her. XD

OSBORN LOUCHART (~stoodfirm) is the Knight Commander for the circle. He's all about fairness and justice and praise the Maker sort of stuff. I expect there may be awkwardness. XD They likely may interact at some point? He has the best potential for it.

ADAN SARAZIN (~bridledrage) is my Warden. He's super tall (6'6") and a former mercenary out of Rivain. He's generally easy to get along with, but I don't see any straight up interactions here from the get-go. :/

Side note: Your username is amazing because idk if you know this or not, but it's a very unappreciated gun in Destiny and can do some serious damage in the PvP stuff if one knows how to use it. >.>

Hi Chrissie!! I'm starting to realize the pitfalls of having a Tevinter character is that there's not a lot of them yet, and not a lot of plot for her yet, but I definitely think she can get around to chatting with people, and I think Osborn has the best potential for plot with her. Also, I'm absolutely certain that the other concepts I have tucked up my sleeve have potential for plot with yours, so I'm keeping an eye on your characters! Also Maddox is hysterical. Just putting that out there.

AS A MATTER OF FACT that is why I chose her username >:)
