And indeed, Blue was sleeping. He'd slowly walked to his bed after replying to the messages from the other residents, having shut down his laptop and given in to the imminent, chronicle exhaustion. He'd been sleeping for the larger part of the week, after having wandered around in the snow and had the strange episode inside the Cathedral. Perhaps it had been reckless to have gone out in such a cold weather when the Soldier was known for having a weak constitution, but- something about this place (namely the fact that he wasn't from there and was allowed to move around freely, without fear of being chased down or marginalized by others) compelled him to take a step outside and explore the surroundings in solitude.
He was in deep sleep when Cloud walked in. If at first his presence wasn't sensed, all it took was his hand on Blue's forehead for him to be waken up by a silent voice. The Soldier kept his eyes closed, however, as if slowly returning to reality (and taking his time to overcome the exhaustion taking him over). This wasn't like the time in Shangri-La, when a voice had urgently called out for him and quickly pulled him out of his sleep - instead it was calm, concerned, familiar... childishly curious.
Blue wanted to move his lips to speak, to let Cloud know that his visit hadn't gone by unnoticed, but he was tired, and because of that, he simply did the only thing he could gather enough energy to do.
