I was forced into this [ Active ]
Who: Maya (lilsamurai) and Tom (riddle_me_this) and.. maybe Stork?
What: De-treeification, as late as it is.
When: Sometime... Saturday?
Where: Hallway #345.
Warnings: Brain-breakage.
Maybe this was what a horcrux felt like.
Whatever it was, Tom almost didn--- minded it as much as he possibly could. Ivy was good for business, perhaps, but when her little villain plans got out of order, it tended to be a bit frustrating. Even if... the tree he'd "become" was a bit interesting. Yew. It worked. If, that was, he wasn't 'growing' sideways and through a narrow, deserted hallway.
There was one part of him that did mind it - what reason was there to worry about the swarm of vermin when you didn't need to rush? There was another part that cared a whole lot (the part Tom liked to focus on most) and demanded, for the sake of anything anyone could hold dear, he stopped being a tree via any means necessary. Then, there was that last, tiny part, that was terrified of someone actually - 'helping.' For a scientist, Watari's antidotes lacked practicality. Majorly. -- Overall, if the first (ignored) part wasn't choosen, Tom would take the second.
Because. Marble flooring did nothing for roots trying to grow.
