City of Saints: Network

Uriel and Gabriel,

The food shortage in the city has gotten worse. The forces of Hell are keeping more for themselves than they did before, and people are beginning to go very hungry. Some, I heard, have begun acting rashly because of this, which will only make things worse but it is a reaction I don't think I can blame them for?

There is desperation. They continue trying to thrive and survive, but I am told the quality of sustenance is important for the people's health, which means if this continues, things will only get worse globally. There will be sickness, and there might be death. Anger and rage, as well, if it is already popping up here and there. I've been thinking about it, I think if this food shortage gets any worse, the consequences will be felt across the spectrum. I've begun to understand that actions entangle with other actions, 'things' as you call them cause for other things to unfold and so on. Reactions to anything aren't restricted, they spread and involve other things that you may not even see as related at first. It's frightening.

I don't understand if Hell keeps the best resources for their own vessels or in order to slowly punish and make suffer the people of this town, but either way, they need them less than the people do.

We should do something, shouldn't we? Before the mortals do out of desperation and end up with a fate worse than death.

Just a friendly reminder that everyone is welcome at Purgatory. Yes, Gabriel, even you. Lucifer himself can come (though please don't, I'm not looking to be seduced right now). Just be mindful of the rules! No fighting, and keep the prejudices outside. I do so hate cleaning up messes.

Thanks to the last spat we are now checking weapons at the door. Don't worry, you'll get it back. Don't make me start stripping you fine people of artifacts as well.

Also, please stop feeding the Hellhound. It is not pleasant when a giant black wolf sits very close by watching you eat expecting you to share because the glutton can't be satisfied with his own generous portions.

Also, hiring new staff, and opening up the pool. Humans are now welcome to apply.

What goes in this comm:

• JOURNAL: private journal entries, whether on paper or kept on somebody's computer or phone
