lorena and arthur late sunday night/early monday morning? at her crummy hotel. it's been a while for lorena and arthur! rating : probably at LEAST pg-13. she has a potty mouth.
She didn't have much - there wasn't much she could take from Sub-Diego that would really be useful here in Gotham. Grimy gothic grumpy Gotham. Lorena didn't care for it - not yet. So far, she'd seen a shitty bus station where someone offered her a pamphlet regarding her immortal soul and someone else offered to take her home and show her a good time. She'd thought about hitting them both up against the head, but decided her first night in Gotham shouldn't be spent in some slummy jail cell. Who knows what types she might find there. She'd walked to the hotel from the bus stop - a seedy place, cheap enough for her very lacking wallet. She needed somewhere to stay just for the night, until she got her bearings and figured out exactly where wasn't the shittiest part of town to live in.
Which was exactly where she was when she got in contact with Arthur. She figured that out at least. And now he was coming to rescue her. That's what you get for befriending superheroes - they were prone to come and save you from any sort of imagined or real danger. Now, waiting in her room, she flipped through the channels on tv. She wondered what happened to the quality television that was on two years ago - what happened to "Laguna Beach"? She didn't know what the hell was happening on "Psych" and where was "Veronica Mars"? She sighed and settled to watch "I Love New York" which had nothing to do with the Big Apple and everything to do with a bunch of paid actors.
