Arthur smiled at her, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. He had really missed the kid, and hadn't really realised it until she was standing in front of him. There was a lot he missed about his submerged life, but he wasn't going to dwell on it now and start to think about leaving Gotham for Atlantis. He wasn't ready to go back there, anyway. And he wasn't sure if they were ready to take him back.
They made it back to Arthur's apartment pretty quickly, considering the distance. But they were them, so it wasn't very surprising (unlike, what, two other things that evening?). Being the gentleman he was, Arthur had taken Lorena's bag at some point and carried it the rest of the way. He also unlocked the door and held it open, letting her enter before himself.
