All right, since Sherlock isn't

So, if we have been kidnapped, I suppose we ought to try and figure out why, for what purpose, what they want etc. My first thought - is there something that connects us all? Even something small?

I'll make a start - I'm John Watson. I'm from the UK, I live in London. I was in the army, I served in Afghanistan. I'm also a doctor. I trained at St Barts. I now work with a private detective, so I suppose I might know some things that someone else might want to find out? People do seem oddly fond of kidnapping me, mostly to piss off Sherlock Holmes.
