I thought you should know, there were some shifters on the grounds last night. Wolves. They didn't cause any trouble, seemed to just be looking around. But I saw them again this morning when I took Chloe into town for breakfast. They trailed us through a couple of stores, and I can still smell them now that we're headed back. Not close, keeping their distance, but.
It seemed like something you ought to know. Might want to let the right people know that the local supernaturals have noticed that we're not just blowing through, and to behave?

Well, I talked to my mom, which made her as happy as she can be without me actually turning up to visit. I keep trying to explain that 'days off' are a bit on the awkward side, but I think mothers as a whole become irrational when they don't get the time they want. She tried to bribe me with her fried chicken and meatloaf... and it might have worked, if Chloe's wasn't better.
That's a secret I plan on taking to my grave, though. Mothers become irrational about their cooking, too.
