Dobson House Warming Party!
Who: Everyone
Where: Dobson manor
When:Week 4, Saturday, evening
Why: Housewarming party at Dobson manor.
Warning: Social party and getting to know each other, but no other warnings yet.

Tabitha took a deep breath as looked at herself in the mirror. In only a few minutes, her first party here at Beacon hills would begin. She'd spent the better part of the week ensuring the whole manor be washed and decorated properly in reds and gold.

All sorts of foods prepared and laid out beautifully beside an open bar filled with various alcohol and even some blood bags for the visiting vampires. Tabtiha made sure there was no expense forgone, no extravagance missed. This was going to be a party that was not quickly forgotten, she wanted to be sure of it.

Smoothing her hands over her cream colored dress one more time nervously, she stepped out of her room and down the grand staircase to greet her guests.

"Great expectations was a very good read, I will agree with that." She smiled at him.

"Oh? Unsure of modern colloquialisms?" She asked with a smile. There were times she often wondered if it would difficult for someone immortal to get used to the changes in language or technology as time passed. There were times that even she couldnt understand some of her peer's slang since she'd mostly grown up with only her mother or tutors as her only companions.

"Quite. Most of the time I just nodded my head. He wrote me the other day and I had to have my companion decipher it for me." But he was a good guy and after a while one could kind of understand him. "I am picking up on somethings. It is hard for me, being over a hundred, to understand and don't get me started on the music or the technology. Microwaves and I do not mix well." He chuckled. "My human, Buffy, nearly jumped a mile high when the first microwave almost exploded."

That drew a soft laugh from her. It was amusing to think of someone having to translate current slang. When he mentioned technology, that made her laughe even louder. "I can only imagine. My grandmother has difficulties just trying to deal with technology as well. For the longest time she was sure that the microwaves caused a witch to loose their magic. I was so terrified of them because of it for the longest time. I once screamed and ran when I saw one at a friend's house."

"I can say that I am perfectly able to work a stove for my own purposes but to use a microwave to heat up my blood? It is did not go so well the first time so I am not even going to try again. But I can say it fared worse then that oak coffee table I use to have. Buffy took her heel to it for god knows what purpose." okay he did know the purpose of that little table after it was ripped to pieces.

	Tabitha could only imagine what happened and had to stifle a laugh at the mental image. "I can only imagine how that microwave looked afterwards." At his next comment, she tilted her head a little in curiousity. "Your table? Is Buffy your companion?" She asked, unsure if she should say slave, girlfriend or wife. (Reply to this) (Parent)
