Chaos Unraveled OOC Community

The Mod's been absent as of late due to a virus on her computer. She's almost fixed it completely, so she should be back soon. She apologizes for being able to report this and can't wait to be back!

I'd hate to call hiatus again so soon since I have so many comments/replies to catch up on, so I'll call it a semi-hiatus for Monday and Tuesday, and probably Wednesday (Christmas shopping) and Thursday (final exam #1). And on the 16th, I have my last two finals, one of which starts at 7:30 am. Not fun.

Also, Syd's shop will be "officially" open later this week.

So anyway, I'll be watching and posting a few things when I have the time~ Talk to ya later~

Finals are bearing down on me, so I will be scarce for the next couple of weeks. I will try to keep up on the party thread with Morana, but other than that, nothing. Sorry.

Yes, thank you. I apologise for dropping tags a lot the last few days, but I have deadlines hanging over me until the end of term, and sadly they won't let me be just yet. So, from now up until I finish essays I need to do, I'll be scarce. I'll catch up with tagging tonight, and will still be around, just less than usual. I'll be back to normal by the 10th of December at the latest, though I'm aiming to try and get most things done by the end of this week.

If you need for anything, my contact details are on the list.

The good news is once that's out the way, I'm finished for Christmas and won't have anything else I need to do till after New Year when the term starts again, so that means roughly 4 weeks break! <3

One more thing! Hope all in the USA had a nice Thanksgiving, and well, today is kinda our version of the holiday, though it's not as big or as vastly celebrated. Regardless, the inner Scottish Patriot in me wants to wish you all Happy St Andrews Day.~

It's been out since this morning, due to some problem or other that the cable company is working to fix. I'm hoping it will be back up by tomorrow morning but I'm really not sure. I answered the one tag I had, but I'm at the copy shop and I can't stay long.

So for now I guess I'm on hiatus. Plus my daughter is visiting until Friday... but I should be able to have some net time so I'll let people know when I'm able to read posts again.

I'll be on a hiatus for the weekend until Monday.

I'll be watching and i'll comment on threads when I can, but don't expect much activity beyond observing. ;_;

The cause: College projects.
When the college project issue will cease slowing me down: Dec. 4th.

I'll be off hiatus before then, and i'll be MORE active, but I'll be more delayed at the same time until Dec. 4th, when all the projects will finally be finished.

Calling hiatus for myself until Monday. I have soooooooo many projects/papers, it's not even funny. I'll keep watching the community and threads, but no/even fewer journal comments.

Just to point out with my previous post here~: Syd's shop contains items that are magical. Or even technologically advanced. Or from other worlds. You could ask for camera equipment, like Henry for example, but his equipment will be "special" somehow (like it'll be indestructible or can photograph ghosts or something xD). There'll be herbal ingredients as well, but extremely few (since I wouldn't want to slight Blythe). Be creative, peoples~

On that note, Jazz-player: What is "crystialized energon" and what is Jazz planning to use it for? (this will effect what Syd asks for in payment and whether or not he gets a lot)

Also, Zefiris, I will definitely get to your comment! I just need to ask our Mod some stuff. (I've watched Scrapped Princess, actually. ^^)

I suppose it's about time that I just came out and said that due to needing to find a second job and stressful situations at home, I've been having a lot of trouble posting. I really want to write, but when I try to reply to threads or journal entries, it just...doesn't work.

Don't worry, I will still reply to the Morana rescue thread in a (mostly) timely fashion, since I've held it up for far too long anyway. But all other journal entry comment threads and logs are on standby.

I'm really sorry everyone, I think I just need some time to get my head back on straight.

Just to say that I won't be very active over the next...um...2, maybe 3? days. I'll keep on the threads, but journals will be a bit slow. So don't go thinking you need to respond to my comments right away or anything! Take y'all's time. There's no rush.

It's just for a couple days - I'm going to Delaware with my crazy-ass mother. I just didn't want to bother anyone with the sudden lack of replies. =)

If you're wondering where our lovely Mod is, as she's been quiet lately, not only is she still having computer trouble, but she's also pretty darn sick right now. Called her up the other day, and poor thing sounded awful.

I just thought it was in everyone's best interest to be aware of this. She'll be back as soon as she's healthier. In the meantime, if anyone has any questions or concerns, bring them to me, and I'll talk to her for you or work them out myself.

Too much to go into detail, but I have some things to take care of. Saturday the 20th to Saturday the 27th. No journals, just threads (BBQ Thread still a go. Would like to continue plans for Beach Thread.).

Assuming the Trial is still on for Friday, Blythe will be gone that week anyway for her mini-reprieve. Sal will be in Emptiness. Dorian will be Dorian.

I'm back from Georgia! The wedding was nice. Ultra-Christian (for example, the bride and groom did not exchange rings, but Bibles, and there was no dancing at the reception because it's sinful). So, of course, my uncles, aunts, and I were singled out for being the ones to sneak booze and imported wines (thank you, Aunt Debbie) into the hotel every night and did the electric slide in the far back corner of the reception hall.

Overall, the wedding was great, the reception was meh, I saw a water tower shaped like a giant ass (okay, it was a peach, but seriously now, it looked like a massive ass), one of the Comfort Inns had sex beds (defined by large quantities of unexplained stains on the sheets) while the other one was brand new, and I learned that people in Georgia pronounce 'van' and 'chair' with three syllables. All good times.

SO! I'll start posting again tomorrow - threads I need to hop into, conversations I need to finish, journals to bother, and Alessa's private entry (yes, I saw~).

Okay, this might be lengthy, if so, I'm sorry for taking up space on the F-list. 

Thanks to everyone who gave me get well wishes, a combination of your love and the antibiotics must have done the trick, since I no longer have any pain in my ear. ^^ 

Anyway, reminder that I will be playing up until Friday, until I go to work, and then by the time I come back home, I will probably go straight to bed, since I have to get up early for my flight on Saturday morning. 

As for Morana, plans for what she'll be doing are pretty much cleared up I believe with our lovely mod, (If not, Chrissy, you may shoot me now ^^;;) so I'll just give a brief explanation for all who are curious. 

After Fancy Dress Malfuction Day (which is running in game from tomorrow til Friday I believe), Morana will be leaving Asgard, once she manages to struggle her way out of her costume. Beforehand, she will talk to Metatron about it, (that post will go up tonight) since she would not want to up and leave for no reason, and leave him a rather childishly written letter (reason why she's been locked away of late, practising ther writing skills, which are minimum to say the least, to get it ready, thinking about what to say etc)  to read to members of Asgard explaining why she's gone. Namely, she wants to try and find a way to control her vocal powers. She's too scared there will be a repeat of the earthquake scenario is Asgard to practise there, so, she's going out into the forest to find a suitable area. There may be little personal notes for certain members of Asgard scribbled in the letter as well, mainly letting everyone know they shouldn't worry, and that she will come back, since she considers Asgard the first real home she's ever known.

Now, a little bit of notice on what will happen while she's away exploring (She'll find beach to show Dorian for sure <3). She'll find an abandoned church in a secluded part of the forest, and probably take shelter inside of the night, only to wake up when it's dark, and hear chiming noises, followed by the ringing of the loud church bells. While they will be loud, they won't deafen her, leaving Morana to just listen to how there is control in the pitch of the bell that controls the volume. From spending her days listening to them, Morana will be able to learn a little about how to control the volume and pitch of her voice, so she can control the amount of damage she does. She'll be practising when she comes back to Asgard as well, since she will be no expert. However, she will grasp the basic concept, and maybe be able to do some small scale things, like be able to make the water a glass ripple. 

Any thoughts, suggestions and such, do feel willing to say here, always looking for input from you guys. ^^

Wow, am I a turd or what XD.

It's a short, full hiatus from Thursday to Sunday. I'm going to a wedding, y'all! So this is just a head's up that I won't be online for those...one, two...four days.

Wow.

I will spare everyone the drama - an OOC Board is hardly the place! - but I think I'll be back from hiatus sometime on Saturday. Most of the chaos has cooled; the funeral was this morning and many of my relatives have just left. This whole affair...God, I feel like I've aged fifty years and that my heart has turned into some sort of black hole. My Auntie Eileen likened it to an empty well during a drought. That sounds very much like what it feels like, kinda like you can't even get the air out of your lungs, cuz it gets sucked right back in. But I said I would spare the drama, didn't I.

Anyway, I would really like to start getting back to my old schedule. The sooner, the better, or else I'll just never get out of this in one piece. Thank you to everyone's kind words and sentiments. Thank you to Brandi and Chrissy for helping with the hiatus notices and thank you, Hannah, for the personal well-wishes as well. You are dear to my heart.

See you guys soon! I'm looking forward to kickin' up some dirt, y'all!

Okay guys, I just to do this now while I remember, mainly because I may forget nearer the time 1. due to hurrying preparation and packing, and 2. because right now I suspect I might be coming down with an infection, and if I am, don't know how much time I will spend online. (going to the doctors today anyway, so...wait and see.)

I will be on full hiatus starting next week from the 6th-12th of September, because I am going away on holiday, flying across the Atlantic to spend a week in New York, hopefully finding out why named it twice. Nevertheless, I will have no internet access, and even if I did I would be rather busy sightseeing, shopping, going to Broadway shows etc. Plus my mum would probably kill me if I went anywhere near a computer. Anyway, I should be around, though a bit scarely until Friday the 5th, so everyone knows. And though I will be jetlagged on Saturday the 13th, I should be able to post on that day.

Now you may ask, what will Morana be doing while I'm gone. Well, I have an idea what I would like to do with her so she's not totally idle, since she's not the sort of character to sit around and do nothing, but it will need to be discussed with Chrissy first, and considering all that's happened this week, understandably it may take a bit of time to organise. I will edit this post in due course when something is settled, but for now, thanks for listening everyone.~
