	Rich people like to buy stuff that catches their eye, right? Companies, cars, fancy shit. Stuff to validate their importance or whatever and maybe make them richer. Bruce likes to adopt kids who catch his eye because they're like him somehow. Maybe so he can validate what He's done with his life, or maybe so he can prove that people can be better than him. So Bruce is your "old man" and he has a number of children through adoption, correct? Therefore you have quite a few siblings.

I wonder if the reason Bruce adopts children is because it makes him feel richer in family. From my observations, humans seem to thrive better in a family so perhaps in adopting you and your siblings he is giving you the opportunity to bond and grow together and give you something to fight for.
