I can't remember the last time I had to go for a job interview. Are there any modern-day questions I should be prepared for?

I hate the question in general but being HERE makes it even worse.

I can't remember the last time I had to answer that question.

Our liaison helped me get in initially with where I work but I still had to convince them to let me do the thing I wanted and MAN that interview process hurt my brain a little. They just ask textbook questions and like how is this relevant to what I would be doing??

Ah the difference between what they want you to say versus what they want you to actually do.

Exactly. If they wanted to quiz me on how to run a board from the mic, I could have shown them. But no: tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer.

I don't know, I hung up on them so we didn't get an FCC violation??

Or better yet, what is your biggest flaw in the workplace.

... What is the FCC violation?

"I work too hard!"

FCC is the Federal Communications Commission which basically regulates what can and can't be said on radio, what can and can't be said or shown on television, etc. So if someone on air is being atrocious, I can hang up on them to avoid not bleeping them out fast enough with the delay. Boom! No potential violation.

I once wanted to say I'd be shit at gossip at the water fountain.

Good to know.
