Been stuck in a bit of a rut since arriving here.. How do you guys get out of them if experienced in such things?

I’ve always just made myself keep loving, I guess. Find stuff to do, keep busy. Never stop looking for a way home, but don’t stop living in the meantime, you know?

Normally I'd have a lab, and friends, but I don't. It's like starting all over again and I wasn't exactly prepared for that. Just kind of threw me.

I get it. My team isn't here, either. There are familiar faces, but no one I knew super well or anything. I've had a few months to settle in and I've made some pretty good, but it's something that took time and effort.

As for the lab, who says you can't find one here? Or build one.

I don't even have that, that would at least be comforting..sorry. I'm frustrated. Wasn't intending on starting over. I was happy where I was.

If there's a need for that, yeah..maybe.

I don't think any of us were, but we're all here, anyway. Most of us left family and friends behind and, yeah, it sucks. We're all just trying to make the best of it.

Looks like at least I found step one. Guess I need to blow off some steam before I can get to that point. Just not sure how to go about it yet.

Coming to Thanksgiving might be a good start. It helps, being around people who get it and, trust me, we all do.
