It's not exactly what I was doing back home, but I landed a job as a photographer with the San Francisco Chronicle. Most of the writers I'm working with seem pretty relaxed but one is super intense. That's the one I plan to follow the most!

Now other than holiday barbecues, what do you all do around here? I've been warned about weird things and now there's some guy talking about a swearing duck.

Being honest, I didn't really miss San Francisco. But in some ways it's good to be back. ~~The Tower isn't there, though~~

	Photographic Journalism can be quite a noble pursuit if you want it to be. I've been looking for a job myself, actually. I think I would do best at a school, but I don't know which school. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I've submitted a few photos for magazines and newspapers when I was first trying to establish myself, so it isn't an entirely foreign concept. It'll just be an adjustment being on a regular roster and going out with the writers and having a desk and all.

I know a lot of the people here teach at Mission. It's not a magical school but it would get you back in front of students? Unless you're looking for a younger crowd.

	Doubtful. I mean, I'm sure there will be times when I'm sent out to photograph the judging of a gardening competition, but there's also the homicides, natural disasters, car accidents. It can be pretty gruesome. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
