VOLUNTEER SPOTS
BRENNA HARLAND is a little nervous about dunking an officer of the law. But CLEA COX does their best to assure them that there will be no hurt feelings.
INNES WRIGHT keeps hovering around the dunk tank, as if they're waiting for someone. When EMMETT HAYES is finally on shift, they step up to do some serious dunking.
After VOLUNTEER THREE's first 5 throws miss the target they grow frustrated with the game and points to DUNKEE VOLUNTEER TWO as they promise to return to get their revenge later.
EDDIE WOLFE buys 5 balls, thinking they would have trouble with this. But they got a dunk on their first shot. So, like a good neighbor, they hand the rest of what they bought to the next person in line.
VOLUNTEER FIVE is dragged to the dunk tank by their child or other small relative. After they fail to get a dunk VOLUNTEER DUNKEE THREE who was on ball duty suggests they run up and hit the target anyway.
VOLUNTEER SIX is on a date and wants to impress the person they're with by doing a fancy throw. Shocking everyone around at the time one of these actually does get a dunk. To the point that VOLUNTEER SEVEN is convinced they must know magic tricks. Because there was just no possible way, right????
When Emilia Wolfe started as a cop at the Deputy Sheriff's Department she took the initiative to put together some kind of event for the department to take part in rather than just oversee. Each year she asks what the current members of the department are interested in and then welcomes other emergency service employees to join in on the fun! This year they are staffing a DUNK TANK, as suggested by TONY TROY.
At any time between 1pm and 7pm at least two members from emergency services was at the tank. One person was waiting to be dunked while the other was in charge of collecting money and making sure people didn't try to creep too close to make the target easier. The only people allowed to do that are children.
Tickets are sold throughout the day for $3/ball! All proceeds will be going to CHARITY: WATER. This year they have a goal of raising $1000. Near the dunk tank people will see a dry erase board that is tracking their progress!
