Having thoroughly convinced herself that JJ Mayweather was the one who tampered with Mitzi's generator, Kennedy comes rolling into the police station like a storm herself. Officer TONY TROY is the one to officially hear her out but everyone in the vicinity is forced by the volume of her voice to hear her out, too. Of course it was JJ! You want proof? He's a Mayweather and he's a conniving little bastard, this is totally right up his alley. Who else would do it? There is a heart and a storm cloud carved into the damn thing! Is that not proof enough? Are you aware of how often JJ harrassed Lincoln when he was a student of his? She'd like the generator dusted for prints and JJ strung up by his toes, please. If you can't do that then at least scare the kid. There's free breakfast in it for you if he cries.
LOCHAN MADAN, upon overhearing all of this, asks Kennedy what makes her so sure it had to have been JJ. Instead of a real answer, they're treated to a recitation of a literal 200 years worth of Mayweathers fucking with Mayfairs. To hear Kennedy tell it, the Mayfairs come off like a family line of noble kittens who NEVER ONCE struck first or acted in retaliation. Any local worth their salt would know better - the Mayfairs and Mayweathers have both been actively and equally antagonistic toward one another for many generations.
