R tumbled through the fireplace and into the lobby of Enjolras' apartment building at around four in the afternoon. His suit was a little sooty but nothing that a scourgifying spell wouldn't fix, when he got somewhere he could take it off (he felt more than a little leery about turning his wand on himself, especially because it could sometimes be temperamental). He was feeling...weird.
The interview had gone very well. True to what her daughter had said, Narissa's mother had seemed to pleased with him and had all but called him her employee. Shortly after, Father had called to yell at him about the whole McDonald's fiasco but, upon hearing he might have much more impressive employment, seemed to settle and even almost congratulated him on finding something to do with his 'otherwise useless hobby'. Not to mention the past few days had just been strange in general, and he always felt a little off when he didn't take his meds or potions for a few days. Which reminded him, he'd have to go home and get them as well as a few changes of clothes, because pleased or not, R was not going anywhere near his father. He'd avoid him for the rest of the summer if he could, shuffle himself and Jackson around if he had to, but this was his last summer vacation and he was not going to waste it being lectured on productivity and responsibility or whatever else Father decided he needed to be taught.
But all of that could wait until he'd gotten to see Enjolras, because he had missed his best friend like a limb, and damned if he was going to wait any longer than he had to. He unbuttoned his jacket as he jogged up the stairs to Enjolras' apartment, pulling out his key (which he did NOT wear on a chain around his neck, even he wasn't that far gone [yes he was]) and unlocking the door to let himself in.
"Honey, I'm home!" he called out as he entered, glancing around for his friend.
