Type: Package
When: Dec. 8, around lunch time [backdated]
Ash wasn't going to sign his name because Lyra would know the gift came from him. He was sure of it. And if she didn't know it was from him, he'd let her try to figure it out. The only problem would be if some tool decided to take credit for him or herself, and Ash would find a way to hex whoever and make that person regret it.
The gift was relatively simple. It was a necklace with a golden chain and a small but bright ruby pendant. In the light it looked like it was on fire. Along with the necklace came a single feather. It was a vibrant red color and had cost Ash a pretty penny to get a hold of since they were somewhat rare to get, and in wands they were known to be especially picky of their wielders. The phoenix feather was just a feather and not the quill as they often were. He hoped she'd enjoy it.
With the package came an unsigned letter:
When you wear the necklace, imagine my lips on your skin where it lies, because that's what I'd do if you were here now.The package was delivered to Lyra during mail time, in a public place where Ash could watch her reaction. His eyes focused on her as it would arrive, and a look in those color-changing eyes of his that matched the smirk on his face.
When you touch the feather against your skin, let it roam over where you'd want to feel my touch.
Happy birthday, Lyra.
